BrewerFan status

Just wondering how it worked to become a "Brewerfan.net regular"? I've posted 200+ times, yet I'm still a rookie, then I look at someone that has posted 10 times, and they have no designation. What's up with that?

P.s. - not really a big deal or anything, just wondering how that worked.

Someone's gotta haze you first.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/devil.gif I had so much fun during my rookie hazing back in the day that I gave up my "lofty" status and became a rook again. Like some of us have discussed before, it's not your number of posts, it's what you say when you post.

But seriously, I have no idea how the designations work.

EDIT: Funny, I just became a regular again on this post.

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

You apparently just haven't shown battling veteran grit yet. Try thinking of each thread as a battle, where you must show how tenaciously gritty you are, then Ned, yes he controls the designations, will make you a regular.

mothership and I appear to be among the many with no designation on this board.

Anyway, I only look at post numbers when a name I don't recognize comes up with a strong statement defying common sense.

An odd twist on the subject of 'status'...

There's a new participant in the Ben Grieve/Brady Clark Platoon thread over on the Major League forum.

He's posted twice to the thread, yet both of his posts indicate that he's only posted to the forums one time.

Maybe that poster is magic.

Isn't Brady Clark gritty? He would probably be a "Brewerfan (some new moniker)" for his great grittyness. Dave Burba too. Jumbotron at Miller should flash "BurbaTime!!!" whenever Dave comes out.
