Pipeline updated their Top 100 tonight.

#22 - Quero
#33 - Misiorowski
#34 - Black
#96 - Pratt

Misi drops 12 spots, Cooper makes his debut.

JS ranked their top prospects today as well:

1. Jacob Misiorowski
2. Jeferson Quero
3. Brock Wilken
4. Robert Gasser
5. Tyler Black
6. Cooper Pratt
7. Logan Henderson
8. Yophery Rodriguez
9. Luke Adams
10. Josh Knoth
11. Luis Lara
12. Craig Yoho
13. Eric Bitonti
14. Brett Wichrowski
15. Yorman Galindez
16. Carlos Rodriguez
17. Jesus Made
18. Jorge Quintana
19. Tobias Myers
20. Dylan O’Rae
21. K.C. Hunt
22. Luis Peña
23. Mike Boeve
24. Coleman Crow
25. Bradley Blalock
26. Filippo Di Turi
27. Bishop Letson
28. Yujanyer Herrera
29. Eric Brown Jr.
30. Shane Smith
31. Hayden Robinson
32. Isaac Collins

Some of those struck me as pretty weird. By 13 I was convinced they'd forgotten about Boeve.

Baseball America updated their rankings earlier in June, but since this is a new thread I'll drop the Brewers on that list too:

#36 - Quero
#52 - Misiorowski
#59 - Black
#87 - Gasser

Not shocked by Pratt breaking into the top 100. All four of the high school picks from last season excelling in A ball made the list.

Biggest surprises to me on the JS list: Galindez (high) and Di Turi (low).

Boeve 23 is crazy . Galindez at 15 is surprising, is his stuff better than I thought, not sure how Baez, Rodriguez, and Barrios aren't there as said above.

Fot me Logan Henderson is getting close to the top 100.

Yoho at 12 is most surprising to me. I am very high on him, but I see him as a setup man.  There are too many good players below him if that is what he is.  Now, if he is a closer (or maybe a starter) in the majors, then I could see the 12th placing.

Lots of interesting placements on the BA list.

Boeve at #4, Wichrowski at #5 vs Henderson at #19, Letson over Knoth, Adams over Wilken.

Also some interesting positions listed with O'Rae at SS, Baez still SS listed first, Clarke with the slash catcher despite zero games behind the dish at AAA this year, Dunn 2B after playing almost exclusively 3B this year.

Does anyone have the full baseball america updated top 30 they could post here?

Unfortunately we had to hide the post that listed all 30 players. Respect to their subscription service.

Seems like a list that was put together 6-8 weeks ago and hasn't changed since.

Too high:

#3 - Black
#5 - Wichrowski
#7 - Bitonti
#14 - Lara

Too low:

#6 - Pratt
#9 - Gasser
#12 - Wilken
#19 - Henderson

Hunt and S. Smith should be ranked and weren't.

So having the recent draft currently in our minds,,,, How the heck does a 13th round college pitcher with a $100K bonus crack our top 5 in less than a year? What are they seeing in Wichrowski?

Some pubs have done updated system rankings.

ESPN and Kiley McDaniel rank the Brewers 17th:

17. Milwaukee Brewers -- $200 million

Current top prospect: Jeferson Quero, C

Preseason ranking: 5th, $276 million

What has happened since: Jackson Chourio and Joseph Ortiz both graduated and Robert Gasser was about to join them before needing Tommy John surgery. Mike Boeve and Cooper Pratt are both arrow-up prospects from the 2023 draft class. First-rounder Braylon Payne wasn't expected to be a top-20 pick last month, but he was seen as a top-40 talent and the savings on his pick were spread around the draft, as the Brewers have done in recent years. Blake Burke and Bryce Meccage were the next-best picks in that crop.

Baseball America came out with their rankings this afternoon:

15. Milwaukee Brewers

Top 100 Prospects: Jeferson Quero, C (44); Jacob Misiorowski, RHP (64); Tyler Black, 3B (66).

2024 Prospect Success Story: Brett Wichrowski, RHP

The Brewers have graduated Jackson Chourio and Joey Ortiz this year, but the rise of Brett Wichrowski, Cooper Pratt and Mike Boeve has given the team some solid reinforcements.

See Their Midseason Top 30 Prospects

************

Has anyone been able to figure out what BA has been doing with Wichrowski? He was their #6 ranked prospect in their updated top 30 list. Now he's their 2024 prospect success story?

I think he's a solid prospect (had him 17th in the July voting), but he can't be anywhere near the top five or listed as the org's prospect success story.

It honestly makes me question my whole subscription.

I've never cared less about our prospect rankings.

We got something cooking here, and it's gonna be fun to watch the next couple years. The pitching depth across the board, along with waves of young positional guys... Yeesh.

If we want some positive prospect news, Just Baseball just dropped their Top 100. It had 6 Brewers.

1. Jeferson Quero - 27

2. Jesus Made - 58 (very aggressive, wouldn't be shocked if this is an industry consensus type ranking 12 months from now)

3. Jacob Misiorowski - 66

4. Luke Adams - 74 (this is pretty shocking. I know the bat has been amazing but wow)

5. Tyler Black - 80

6. Yophery Rodriguez - 96

I dont need to watch the video. I can guarantee Aram was gushing over Made.  Curious why Made gets this high ranking but not Pena. Same age, play the same positions, had similar signing bonuses, and similar OPS this year (Luis was even higher).  Not complaining about having 6 in the top 100 but hard to argue Pena should not be in the discussion.

I was wrong. Aram gushed over Made AND Luke Adams. Also kind words about Yophery.  Worth a listen and you can skip just to the players using the Chapter links.

Aram thinks the Brewers have one of the best minors in baseball. I'm a homer but thats quite a statement.

I love rankings and appreciate those. Disagree with a lot but I always enjoy reading other opinions.

Yeah, I think I agree with the names on David Gasper's list but the order is up for a lot of debate.

But truly 30-40 prospects deep, with a very solid top 20-25.

Guys like Pratt, Yophery, J. Made will be top 100 prospects moving forward, and a lot of us can agree with Aram on Luke Adams. If he can replicate this at AA next year he is a sure fire top 100 prospect then. A big  IF.

I don't know how anyone can look at these lower levels and rank the Brewers lower than the middle of the pack as a farm system. Especially with the depth and impact guys already at a high level. What a joke. ESPN keeps the large market bias alive and well each and every day.
