He's a mid rotation starter.  They give up runs.  He just isn't a lock down starter.

Yeah, can you image how good we would be if we could spend $110 million two or three times in the same season?  We would still have Corbin Burnes, Josh Hader, and would not be looking to get rid of the starting shortstop if this was the case.  And, we could sign better guys than Civale when the injury bug hits.

Freddy with a 4.24 ERA the first inning. 2.65, 1.59, 1.65 innings 2,3,4. He might lowkey benefit from the patented Koenig Opener
