  1. If I'm not mistaken the Brewers have, by far, the best record in MLB against good teams and a top ten strength of schedule and have the second best run differential in baseball. I think its time we consider that the other team might have to worry more about what they need to do in order to beat the Brewers. The Brewers ARE the difficult stretch.
  2. Well, yeah. Elite pitcehrs are elite pitchers for a reason, ask Philly about last night.
  3. 4 runs combined off those two pitchers is crazy after the last two games.
  4. 6 appears to be the record for the most HR given up by single pitcher in an MLB game. I think Gasser can challenge that tonight.
  5. We were a few rows behind where the Sounds players were "on deck", I hollered "Luke Adams for the win" as he walked up to the plate. Close enough I knew he heard it. Then bang, smoked to left. Go a little nod from him was he was heading back to the dugout. Fun weekend here with the Souds in town.
  6. The Dodgers are basically an all-star team and any weakness they have will be addressed by aquiring and all-start level talent. Under the current rule s the Dodgers are just going to be the best team in baseball. I don't put much stock in the series that just finished relative to a playff series but yeah, they are just better. Doesn't mean the Brewers can't beat them but everything would need to line up right. The Dodgers have more than enough to win even if things are set up less than ideal for them. Suck but it is what it is.
  7. Couple of nice "grind it out" innings from the pitchers tonight.
  8. Gotta get Frelick here. Don't want to see Hamilton with runners on.
  9. After fighting it early Harrison is having a very nice outing. Throwing 97/98 in the sixth.
  10. Which is wierd considering how much he tries to make routine plays look hard.
