joining Myers, Ashby, and the young arms as options

I would never count Ashby as an option.

I get that there is a super small chance that Ashby turns into a top 3 starter this year, but he does have the stuff to make it happen.

Cortes to the 60-day is a biiig blow. Feels like we won't see him again until at least early July, and that's if we're lucky.

After he got that injection, it pretty much indicated a mid-year at best timeline.  Looking at the other pitchers that got the same, June/July would've been the earliest they returned.  I was actually going to predict Nester to the 60-man was the move they'd make when I saw Yoho coming up.

As someone who literally shared Yoho was an MLB arm after his first outing as a High-A Timber Rattler...

As someone who wondered aloud:

"What are we doing? These High-A hitters have literally zero chance against this filth!"

I am just litttttttle bit excite. A smidge.

The stuff will play, but he threw too many non-competitive pitches the first time up. Hopefully he’s more confident in his stuff next time up

Maybe before his shoulder injury, however I believe that ship has sailed as a starter. Maybe he could work out as a reliever, multiple innings or 7 th inning but probably not more than that.

They obviously gave Yoho a game plan to work on at AAA and I’m fine with it.  He got a taste and now has seen what he needs to do to adjust.  I’m still confident in his ability.
