“A little bit of a misplay” by Wilson on Durbin’s double?

How about he completely butchered it

A hit here could tie the game

A weak fly to right doesn’t advance the runner.

Was the flyball to short for a tag by Durbin?

Not even close to deep,enough.

But the Phillies generously gifted the Brewers 3 runs.

Is their defense really that crap?

Looks like Turner should have charged the ball as it hopped up at the last moment and hit the thumb of his glove.  Will take it though.

No. Wilson isn’t the regular LF and Turner is generally very good.

Bauers over Black on the 2025 Brewers has proven to be a good roster decision

I never liked Black hits .300 in Nashville and .200 when he gets called up every single time.

MLB sez that Yelich got a right-hand contusion from that HBP.

By "every single time" do you mean the one time he has been called up?

No every single time, Tyler Black has been called up to the Brewers multiple times. His first call-up was on April 30, 2024, from the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. He was recalled from Nashville again on June 19, 2024, and optioned back to Nashville on July 1, 2024.  Additionally, he was optioned to Nashville on May 8, 2024.

Both Ortiz (early) & Turang (late) display next level athleticism & middle infield expertise on rockets that could have easily been hits to start rallies.

I love defense!
