It just hit me watching this video of Burke that his stride & swing look a lot like Rowdy Tellez to me.

He definitely has a little bit of Rowdy in there. My hope is he doesn't trend more Vogelbach. 😅

Oh please at least Tellez or higher.

A lot of draft capital into Wilken, Boeve, Burke and Fischer. We need one of them to hit, and I would love at least 2 of them to hit, in order to cover the corner IF for the next 6+ years.

(I should add Adams into that group; but not Bitonti, Ebel yet as they are several years off).

I mean, Burke has absolutely proven he can hit - despite the post ASB slump he has shown he can hit within the professional ranks. Now the question remains, is this nice lil power burst - we know he has the power but we truthfully haven't seen it accessed all that much in the meat if this season - more a byproduct of the comforts of being back in Knoxville? OR is this him rediscovering his innate ability to hit the ball hard and far in the air? I spoke to it a couple times during this past week but it is worth mentioning again: Knoxville is considered the hardest park to go yard in the entire Southern League. Can he carry this into the final month and post-season?
