  1. The step we've been waiting for...but seen behind the curtain...is being taken. Triple-A batters are now a must to see how this new found control and impact fares with more mature and seasoned hitting approaches. Wonderful to see!
  2. Some unbelievably lopsided scores. I can't remember the last time we had two affiliates lose by such monstrous double digits. Yikes!
  3. I absolutely did not have 3 G, 6.0 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 10 K, and 0 R as the start to One LHP Anferrny Reyes' season. To put this in perspective, this K output outperforms his strikeout totals in three of his FULL months of action last year at Carolina. Surreal start to his season. I see you, young man. 👀
  4. RHP Michael Fowler works around a free pass for the 6-5 T-Rats victory in Game 2. That's a double-header sweep. The young men improve to 7-3. Is the T-Rats line up better than the Brewers? (maybe not Blue font🤭) From Master Spence:
  5. Adamczewski just un-tied it. Kind of nice having him back.😅
  6. Josh returns with a 2-for-2, 1 R, 2 RBI and Solo Johnson to start things off. Payne, leading off, 1-for-1, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, and 2 SB. I do believe that'll play. The lads lead 6-0 top of 4. Woodward went 3.0 IP scoreless scattering a hit, 2 BB, with a punch out. He gave way to Mr. Low.
  7. I would think Holub profiles as the first selection. Murphy has already talked him up and he has legit 7th-thru-9th leverage stuff. He also seems to have found the elusive Control that had evaded him in year's past at Triple-A. He's seasoned and has Closer stuff. Fitz has been great but he's also another Lefty. I think he is third in Line here as a result. Burke really is just a very smart player overall. He has a lot more athleticism than people think. He's a heady base runner and a heady player overall so he uses that to his advantage to swipe bags, imho.
  8. I honestly don't think he looks all that much larger than his playing days. He does to you?
  9. Here I came lolly-gagging in, sipping coffee as rain pours and legs ache from yesterday's farm work, to post the Prince Fielder ceremonial first pitch...lo and behold, HOF Legend Jim Goulart has shared an Opus of highlights. Machine.
  10. It appears to be official after McCalvy's tweet-to-deleted tweet as Nashville issued a press release: - OF Greg Jones had his contract selected by the Milwaukee Brewers (the corresponding move to Vargas' promotion; Yeli's IL placement; and Zastryzny's IL status moved to 60-Day)
  11. Tho I personally wouldn't hire from within Doc's staff - for obvious reasons - orgs do tend to like familiarity and the Bucks are absolutely slaves to their status quo. I say this to say: the best game played all season long by the Buck, imho, was the sole game Hambone coached. Does this mean Ham deserves the HC job and his 2nd opportunity in the League? I have absolutely zero idea. But his team performed and had a nice night. #Insight #DeepThoughts
  12. That Denver goalie did not lose a single regulation game all season. Incredible run. Also, Dexheimer is signing with the Wild it would appear. Epic.
  13. Post-game it was a hammy. Was that smoke and mirrors? And, if it was, why did they need to obfuscate? Is this story bigger than we've been led to believe? Is there a conspiracy unraveling behind closed doors? Is it even a groin or is that what they want us to believe? Who can we trust anymore so deep into this early season?!?
  14. The Shuckers offense is unreal right now. Kevin Martir continues to he the most slept on coach in the entire Brewers system. Hitting witch doctor. Lost in the Burke/Made Hit-palooza is Boeve's solid start to the year.
  15. This just in: A healthy Ramón Rodríguez can plain hit a baseball at any level. Love him.
  16. I see that T-Rats box and I know it was a winning night regardless when I see the work of Low and Fowler. Wonderful to see!
  17. Holy Badgers! This run is incredible!
  18. I have not seen the games or the finer data but 7-of-10 SB came via the work of Rodriguez/Quero and the remaining 3 came via Strz/Quero. I am quite a bit less 'worried' about the SB on Quero than I am about Rodriguez's ongoing two-season regression and seemingly precarious 40-Man position. Even with a 10-spot in an evening, it's wiser to see the greater body of work in 2026: Quero has caught 4-of-14 for a 28.6 CS%
  19. Manfredi appears to be taking that coveted step before our eyes? 9 hitters does not write the Tale but it certainly represents a chapter. Years of teasing us with his raw goods but incapable of putting the pieces together. What a wonderful early season development. I don't expect this type of dominance to last if he is promoted but this is kind of beginning to feel like a Holub-like situation where we knew the raw goods absolutely played but the accuracy and precision and consistency lagged. What I see when I watch him sling it right now? A calmer pitcher with easier movements. He is letting the raw goods shine.
  20. Love seeing LHP Bjorn Johnson with an effective and efficient outing. Quite the debut so far for one RHP Braylon Owens. 5 K through 3.0 IP 👀 Anyone have eyes on his work?
  21. An annual tradition unlike any other. Uncanny how something Audio-Visual happens in Biloxi literally every season.
  22. <Secretly grateful Harold didn't use this as a means to push for Darrien Miller to build upon his already massive 1B resumé🤭>
