Hey, Di Turi has hit the ball very well tonight with the results not showing it. He hit a hard hit line out to LF. He just smoked a ball to the deepest alley warning track to end the Muddies 9th. I'm into this. THIS is a great night. Numbers will lie.

Wasn't that called strike to Anderson and the deep fly Di Turi? I believe that is so. Let me know, please. I loved that Di Turi AB. But, maybe it wasn't Di Turi.

Yhoswar being released sucks. His .547 OPS was never going to play but I liked him.

Good to see the Sounds get out of the slump

But Nova gets two outs for Carolina to try to close it out.

Nova K's his first batter. 7 pitch AB. He is a different pitcher these last few weeks. I am absolutely here for it. He K's the next batter on a gorgeous 2-2 change-up. My goodness. I'm telling you, because well I've been telling you since his first relief appearance: he has stuff and he just needed to find the ability to control it.

I see Blayberg Diaz wanted to add a second defensive miscue to his butcher job at 1B tonight. My goodness. So many bad defensive plays in Appleton tonight. LOL. Drops the casual pop up in 1B foul territory. Just ugly.

Houdini act by Peek. Kept it ties after 4 straight hits. 6-6. Shuckers up to try to walk it off.

i didn’t watch but grounder with force out at home, pop out and then I saw the liner out to LF. Nice job. Wish it was only 1 run, but just makes it more dramatic with a walk off right?!?

And, naturally, that Diaz drop was huge as the runner that was on 1B advanced on a WP. Stole 3B. Scored on the sac fly to CF for the second out. Sloppy baseball matters. It just does.

Not dominant lines. But solid starts by DeBerry and Travis Smith, nice for ‘24 draftees who move up, giving solid innings. Both could be inning eaters with K potential, nice to have that depth.

All domestic affiliates (ie non-DSL clubs) so far have won, pending Wisconsin to try to keep it undefeated.

Yikes Dinges throws to second better but not great and Pena couldn’t get in front of it.

Not many can make Made look like that. This Ibarra has some heat for high A and has movement. Struck out the side. 23 year old in first taste of high A. His stats are not that great but not a lot of innings past 2 seasons maybe coming back from injury but he had some stuff.

That’s 5 straight Ks by Mexican high A hurlers (J. Broca get Hope last out, then Ibarra Ks all 3, and Broca gets the first man swinging).

Gelof just missed a HR just under it a little. Broca went to his knees thinking it was out. Nicasia at the warning track and it’s a huge out #1.
