It’s 0-0 but feels like we are losing. Really going to need some halftime adjustments. Gutes is ok but I am not feeling too good about MLF at the moment.

Yes. This team has all the talent to be on the same tier as teams like the Eagles, Rams, Lions and Seahawks, but unfortunately our head coach is holding them back.

I don't think we have enough talent either and we certainly don't have enough head coach.

Gute is responsible for the contracts of Aaron Banks and Nate Hobbs which look like the two worst free agent signings in the NFL last year.

And he signed Jacob’s and McKinney last offseason.

Why make them re-kick. Just take the 10 yards

He did shank one earlier.

So he’s average. I think I can agree with that.

MLF actually pushing the ball downfield.

And this is what I don’t understand about our usual approach. Why not change it up and run a quick tempo offense when your traditional offense isn’t working?

I don't have a big problem with Gute. He swings. You will miss when you swing. I can confidently say I strongly prefer this strategy to the days of Frank Walker being the biggest signing for 3 or 4 years. His job is talent acquisition and lack of talent is not the issue with this team. The coach is mediocre and would have been fired already if not for one of the best QBs ever playing his first few years with a chip on his shoulder.

He'll waste a minute of clock before deciding whether or not he's trying to score.

I expected that, but I actually think this is the best we’ve looked in the two minute drive all year. They were actually getting up to the line quickly and not burning a ton of time.

I don’t mind the swings that make sense. The Banks and Hobbs signings both looked like baffling overpays at the time they happened and they look worse in hindsight.

Yeah that feels like how that drive was going to go today.
