I know we have a ways to go this spring but the Sounds potentially have a ton of talent.  There are more players than open positions. Zamora, Leonard, McGee and Rodriguez could all be traded with Wichrowski, Hunt, Kuehner, Manfredi, Fitzpatrick, Fisher, Made, Leston and Hardin waiting for their 2026 AAA opportunity.

They probably should trade one of McGee, because two of him is entirely too many.
 

Kidding aside, thank you for this breakdown. That’s a really good roster, and the pitching staff is borderline unholy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a AAA pitching staff where every guy could be a reasonable candidate to call up because the team affirmatively wants him. Maybe not Rodriguez, but he has actually started games in the majors.

To me, the most interesting decisions are:

1) MLB or AAA pitchers: I figure Henderson and Harrison will be up, Gasser and Yoho will be down.
2) AAA vs. AA batters: Thinking Pratt and Wilken are up, while Lara, Luke Adams and Burke are down.
3) Potential opt-out: Reese McGuire probably has a big decision to make. I think he’ll bolt.
