  1. C- Kelly vs. Contreras = Contreras 1B- Busch vs. Vaughn = Draw 2B- Ramirez vs. Turang = Turang SS- Hoerner vs. Pratt = Hoerner 3B- Bregman vs. Ortiz = Bregman Happ vs. Chourio = Chourio PCA vs. Lara/Mitchell = PCA Suzuki vs. Bauers/Lara = Bauers/Lara DH- Conforto vs. Yelich = Draw Cubs Rotation vs. Brewers Rotation = Brewers Cubs Bullpen vs. Brewers Bullpen = Brewers Counsell vs. Murphy = Pocket Pancakes
  2. Keep them all...... 1B- Burke/Fischer 2B- Turang 3B- Made SS- Pratt LF- Chourio CF- Lara RF- Pena Utility- Williams, O'Rae Hopefully one or both of Dinges and Quero develop into the catcher(s).
  3. Uribe added Romero replaces Drohan to reduce innings. Drohan shuttles with Gasser, Kuhnel, Crow and Sproat Naylor added. I'd like to see Adams but if he plays on 2026 he won't be eligible during the 2027 strike.
  4. RHP Frelick RF Chourio LF Turang 2B Contreras C Bauers 1B Vaughn DH Mitchell CF Pratt SS Ortiz 3B LHP Lara CF Chourio LF Turang 2B Contreras C Vaughn 1B Bauers RF Sanchez DH Pratt SS Ortiz 3B
  5. Contreras Contract Two years, 20 million.with up to 5 million in performance incentives (All Star, MVP, 130 games caught, Silver Slugger, Golden Glove, play offs). Take it or accept 10.5 million in arbitration.
  6. With an impending lock out the Brewers do not want to add to the 40 man roster in 2026 so players can stay eligible play in 2027. The 2027 minor league season will help construct the 2028 roster. Nashville will be an exciting baseball city next summer. C- Quero, Dinges 1B- Burke, Adams, Bitonti 2B- Pena (Turang) 3B- Fisher, Adams SS- Made (Pratt) OF- Adamczewski, Payne, Williams (Lara, Chourio) P- Hardin, Leston, DeBerry, Wichrowski (Miz, Henderson, Drohan, Sproat, Priester, Patrick, Gasser)
  7. It's time to let Pena play 2B for the Shuckers.
  8. Not happening but it should. 😁 Turang 2B Chourio LF Vaughn 1B Contreras DH Bauers RF Sanchez C Mitchell CF Pratt SS Ortiz 3B
  9. Lara RF Chourio LF Turang 2B Vaughn DH Mitchell CF Contreras C Bauers 1B Pratt SS Ortiz 3B
  10. The closer we get to the deadline the more I think the Brewers should back off to second tier players and cross their fingers on a six man rotation staying healthy. A healthy Harrison could be your trade deadline addition....... Not Mason Miller...... Adrian Morejon- Ashby seems trashed. Too many innings and high leverage situations. Would slot in late innings with Uribe and Megill. Giving Up: Braelyn Payne Not Tarik Skubal....... Dustin May- Pitching for a contract and big game stuff. Would the Cardinals trade him in the division? Giving Up: Bishop Leston and Dylan O'Rae Rotation Miz, Henderson, May, Gasser, Drohan, Harrison
  11. Vaughn offers consistent right handed power in an offense lacking power. He should be playing everyday. Lara RF Chourio LF Turang 2B Contreras C Mitchell CF Vaughn 1B/DH Yelich DH/ Bauers /1B Pratt/Ortiz SS Ortiz/ Hamilton 3B/SS
  12. I think Hardin and Leston are a ways away and won't impact the 2026 or 2027 season.
  13. It seems like every team is going to demand a controllable young pitcher for a rotation upgrade. Who are our best? Who wouldn't you trade? 1.) Miz (not getting traded, #1) 2.) Drohan (not getting traded, #2) 3.) Ashby (not getting traded, huge value) 4.) Harrison (not getting traded, #3) 5.) Patrick (not getting traded, incredibly valuable. If the Brewers pick up a pen piece is he a rotation option?) 6.) Henderson (most finished pitcher but tradeable for a top of the rotation pitcher) 7.) Sproat (best pure stuff but tradeable. future reliever?) 8.) Gasser (if he gets you a front line starter so be it) 8.) Crow (injuries are a concern, tradeable) 10.) Gordon (must be a reason we acquired him? still very tradeable) 11.) Rodriguez (throw in on a trade. he is still really young.)
  14. The Tigers will be asking for a haul. If Pena isn't included would the following get it done? Made, Fischer, Pratt, Lara and Drohan are off limits - Gasser or Sproat - Hardin - Adams or Bitonti - Williams - Payne or Adamczewski I dislike the cost but Skubal, Miz, Harrison and Drohan would be incredibly tough in the playoffs.
  15. Hopefully Henderson, Drohan and Sproat can go six...... 😳 1st Time Through Henderson Drohan Gasser Patrick/Sproat (Sproat to AAA for a RO who will go when McCullers is activated from the DL) Miz 2nd Time Through Harrison (Recent call up to AAA) Henderson Drohan Gasser Patrick/McCullers 3rd Time Through Miz Harrison Henderson Drohan Gasser
  16. The Brewers don't need another left handed relief pitcher. Maybe Jose Soriano for Jefferson Quero, Jett Williams and Carlos Rodriguez (who has zero trade value).
  17. Casey Mize, Jose Soriano and Kyle Bradish are worth a look with cheap contracts and arbitration years ahead. Possible Trade- Jett Williams, Tyson Hardin and Brock Wilken Reid Detmers, Robbie Ray and Kevin Gausman would cost more money but would cost less prospect capital in return. Possible Trade- Coleman Crow and Josh Adamczewski Michael Wacha would cost less in prospects but his future years are a gamble. Possible Trade- Braelon Payne and JD Thompson 1. Casey Mize- 2.70 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and $6.15 million and free agent in 2027 2. Jose Soriano- 3.49 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and $2.9 million and arbitration eligible 3. Kyle Bradish- 3.61 ERA, 1.35 WHIP- $3.55 and arbitration eligible for 2027 4. Reid Detmers- 4.39 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 2.7 million and free agent in 2027. 5. Michael Wacha- 3.77 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and $18 million in 2027 6. Robbie Ray- 3.38 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and $25 million free agent 7. Kevin Gausman- 4.33 WRA, 1.35 WHIP and $22 million free agent in 2027
  18. Jo Adell and Reid Detmers for Sal Frelick, Jett Williams, one of of: Shane Drohan, Robert Gasser, and Brandon Sproat and one of Coleman Crow, Easton McGee, Bishop Letson and Craig Yoho. Rotation: 1.) Misirowski, 2.) Harrison, 3.) Detmers, 4.) Henderson (get healthy) 5.) Sproat/Gasser/Drohan/Woodruff/Crow Yelich DH Chourio CF Turang 2B Contreras C Adell RF Bauers LF Vaughn 1B Pratt SS Ortiz/Hamilton 3B
  19. 1B- Wilkens/Burke 2B- Made 3B- Fischer SS- Pratt OF- Chourio, Pena, Lara, Williams
  20. I know we have a ways to go this spring but the Sounds potentially have a ton of talent. There are more players than open positions. Zamora, Leonard, McGee and Rodriguez could all be traded with Wichrowski, Hunt, Kuehner, Manfredi, Fitzpatrick, Fisher, Made, Leston and Hardin waiting for their 2026 AAA opportunity. Williams LF/3B/SS/CF Lockridge CF Adams 1B/3B/DH Black LF/1B/DH Baddoo RF Quero C Wilken 3B/DH Pratt SS Murray 2B Bench: Zamora, Berroa, McGuire, Leonard SP Harrison Sproat Gasser Drohan Crow Rodriguez Pen Kuehner, Yoho, McGee, Peralta, Holub, Bukaukas, McGee
  21. Turang 2B Chourio LF Contreras C Yelich DH Vaughn 1B Frelick RF Rengifo 3B Mitchell CF Ortiz SS
  22. Joey Ortiz hits .250 with 12 HR's and plays awesome defense.
  23. I am probably way off on some salaries. I looked at WAR and what players around them signed for. 1. Lucas Giolitto- Probably can't afford him. Two years, 20 million with incentive for innings pitched? 2.. Griffin Canning- There is some upside. 1 Year, 2 million (similar to Blackburn) with incentives for games started. 3. Walker Buehler- Greatest risk/reward 1 Year, 2 million with incentives for innings pitched. 4. Justin Verlander- Probably can't afford him 1 year, 12 million 5. Jose Quintana- Does he want to come back? 1 year, 6 million with incentives for games started. 6. Tyler Anderson- Is he washed up? 1 year, 5 million if he makes the roster.
  24. Take Freddy's five innings every five or six days and reevaluate at the deadline. If you are near the top of the division just take the comp pick. Freddy- Reliable Woodruff- Health is a question Priester- Reliable Misorowski- Somewhat unreliable Ashby- Question mark Henderson- Health is a question Gasser- Health is a question Patrick- #5 starter Meyers- #5 starter Zerpa- This years Priester? Hall- Questionable for the rotation Rodriguez- Huge question mark There are some intriguing arms! In Pat we trust.
