Game 57 | Brewers 16, Giants 2

MIL Starter: Shane Drohan (4.0 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 2 ER, 5 K)

Top Performers:
Christian Yelich (3 H, BB, 2 RBI)
Jackson Chourio (2 H, 2 BB, 2B, 3 RBI)
Jake Bauers (H, 4 BB)

Due to an influx of injuries, Shane Drohan was back on the mound in a starting role on Monday, though it was the Brewers offense stealing all the headlines. They’d unload on the Giants pitching staff, tallying 16 runs on 18 hits and scoring off every pitcher they’d face, taking game one convincingly.

Game 58 | Brewers 8, Giants 3

MIL Starter: Kyle Harrison (5.2 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, ER, 12 K)

Top Performers:
Christian Yelich (2 H, 2 BB, 2 RBI)
Brice Turang (2 H, BB, 2 RBI)
Jake Bauers (H, HR, 3 RBI)

Kyle Harrison was on the bump to face his old club on Tuesday, and he dominated. In Harrison’s 5.2 innings of work, he struck out 12 batters for the second time on the season, while Jake Bauers’ 3-run home run in the first inning set the tone for the eventual 8-3 win.

Jake Bauers’ 3-run shot (+22.8 WP%)

Game 59 | Giants 1, Brewers 0

MIL Starter: Robert Gassar (5.0 IP, 5 H, BB, ER, 5 K)

Top Performers:
Chad Patrick (4.0 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 4 K)

Robert Gassar was back in the big leagues for the third game of the set against San Francisco. Gassar turned in a quality start, and Chad Patrick cleaned up the four innings behind him with no damage, but Giants twirler Logan Webb flirted with a no-hitter on the other side on the way to handing the Brewers a 1-0 loss.

Luis Renifo’s leaping grab (+2.4 WP%)

Game 60 | Giants 12, Brewers 9

MIL Starter: Coleman Crow (2.1 IP, 9 H, 2 BB, 6 ER, 2 K)

Top Performers:
Jackson Chourio (3 H, 2 HR, 4 RBI)
DL Hall (2.1 IP, H, 0 BB, 0 ER, K)
Brice Turang (2 H, 2B)

San Francisco split the series on Thursday after jumping out to an early lead on Coleman Crow, then getting to both Grant Anderson and Jake Woodford. The bats fared a bit better, as Jackson Chourio went deep twice with the Brewers facing off against Adrian Houser, but that wasn’t enough as a late comeback attempt fell short in the 12-9 final.

Game 61 | Brewers 9, Rockies 7

MIL Starter: Brandon Sproat (5.0 IP, 7 H, 2 BB, 3 ER, 2 K)

Top Performers:
Jake Bauers (3 H, 2 2B, 3 RBI)
Craig Yoho (2.0 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 3 K)
Sal Frelick (2 H, 2B, BB, RBI)

Drama was in store for the Brewers as they shifted to Coors Field on Friday to take on the Colorado Rockies. With just one hit to their name heading into the 9th inning the Brewers would mount a furious comeback, scoring four runs in both the 9th and 10th inning to snatch a win back, despite the Rox mounting a comeback of their own.

Sal Frelick knocks in a pair (+42.8 WP%)

Game 62 | Brewers 7, Rockies 1

MIL Starter: Jacob Misiorowski (7.0 IP, 4 H, 3 BB, R, 0 ER, 8 K)

Top Performers:
Brice Turang (2 H, 2 HR, 2 RBI)
Jake Bauers (H, 4 BB, HR, RBI)
David Hamilton (4 H, HR, RBI)

Jacob Misiorowski eliminated any doubt on Saturday, in a start highlighted by the Miz shaking off his own manager en route to 7 more innings of dominant baseball. Brice Turang and David Hamilton then led the show with the bats, as Turang popped a pair of homers and Hamilton notched 4 hits for the second time in his career.

Game 63 | Brewers 12, Rockies 4

MIL Starter: Shane Drohan (6.1 IP, 5 H, BB, 3 ER, 4 K)

Top Performers:
Jackson Chourio (3 H, 2 2B)
Garett Mitchell (3 H, 2 2B, 3B, 2 RBI)
Andrew Vaughn (3 H, 3B, RBI)

The Brewers completed the sweep of the Rockies Sunday afternoon behind another strong outing from Shane Drohan and another offensive explosion that saw the Crew collect 12 runs on 17 hits, highlighted by a seven-run explosion in the 6th inning.

Gary Sánchez goes deep (+18.3 WP%)
