I think if I had to sit next to Rock I might need a little juice as well. Probably could make a drinking game out of it. A shot every time he said too close to take and you probably be plowed by the time you get to the fifth inning.

… or Vinny saying, “in all of baseball.”

The farm system could have 3-4 more top 100 prospects right now. The depth of the position players is the best it’s ever been.

MLB.com now moved Adamczewski into the top 100. Im a massive fan. The depth is insane rn. Will be sad if any if these top guys are traded for high level MLBers but could see it with this depth.

My 'favorite' is anytime ANYONE singles to the opposite field ... "You know he is seeing it well/going right when he is hitting to the opposite field".

Man does he generate bat. speed

His bat is truly special. We forget he’s only 22 and will get better and stronger. His hands are elite. He’s on his way to being a superstar. I get why the Brewers signed Pratt however I would really like those contracts to be for elite bats. Three guys in the minors are certainly trending this way.

We won, but it was a terribly managed game. I could do much better. Also, we are going to get crushed in the playoffs. The GM should be fired. We need to DFA someone.

His swing mechanics are really good.

Really like the swing path.

Our better hitters mechanically are Jackson and Vaughn and Bauers.

William and Mitchell are decent as well.

Really the only mechanics I really don't like are Yelich and Turang. Their swing mechanics are going to lead to some pretty significant ups and downs. When it's going good they'll be able to do some damage but If things aren't working perfectly it's going to be some dry spells and ugly swings.

The poor Reds. I don't know the updated stat but their records against the NL Central is like 4-18 or something like that. They have won just under 60% of their games this year against non-division foes or thereabouts.

Turangs swing seems so long. Compare his to Chourio and Vaughn. They are direct path to the ball.

And much like Yelich he stands the bat straight up at launch which means it never settles into a relatively flat plane to the ball.

Fine for slow pitch or golf but to consistently square up baseballs you have to be almost perfect on your timing.

I’m good with the Braves continuing to lose. Crew win the division and get the two seed would be a great season again.

Yeah, all I care about is getting a top 2 seed. And then also avoiding the Dodgers til the NLCS

I obviously dislike all the negativity in the game threads. The Crew has almost a plus 130 run differential. The Crew and Dodgers are really good offensively and pitching/defense.

I'll still take this version of Koenig in the pen but it was a bit disheartening to see his velo down a couple ticks below his season average today and his spin rate down about 200rpm across the board.
