The passive approach when a single makes it 7-5 is what really irked me. 

That was not the time to take a couple pitches. It’s just a bad approach and bad situational baseball by a player who has been around long enough to know better.

And the pitching has been phenomenal minus May.  6 ERA in three starts with 7 walks.

They've had some chances to turn this game around and just haven't come through with clutch hits.  And worse, just poor ABs fron Lara, Pratt, and Yelich in RBI situations.
