  1. Do MLB managerial press conferences count as "involved in organized sports"? If so, I agree
  2. Yeah, by track record alone I feel some blind confidence one or both of these guys are going to contribute. For nostalgia and feel-good story purposes, I was pulling for Fielder. But logically, he probably isnt anything to give up.
  3. On a side note, I also live in the Tampa area. Do you know of any Brewers bars you'd recommend? I normally watch at home (or on my phone) but I might like to enjoy some of the WS run with other Brewer fans.
  4. This game isnt very entertaining. I hope they fight about it.
  5. So I can look forward to a game 7 vs the Dodgers? Great, hopefully Miz is pitching.
  6. Early start, guess everyone is still sleeping, or watching the draft.
  7. This is a big spot for Yoho. Its an opportunity to put himself closer to permanent roster status if he can give them sone innings.
  8. Mitchell is saving that challenge for a special occasion, apparently.
  9. I get thinking that hes earned more playing time. But he starts a good amount and almost always pinch hits when he doesn't start. It shouldn't be effecting his hitting, its nit like hes rusty from sitting all week.
  10. If that inning was in anyway indicative of his infield D, they would have been better off playing Felick at 3rd and Oritz at 2nd if Turang needed a day off
  11. Its going to be pretty sweet if they win 4 or 5 of these games and wear out the Cardinal pen. Therefore, having their doubleheader strategy blow up in their face.
  12. It might not be "classy" or "sportsman like." But is the Cardinals, if he does that same celebration Im going to laugh and enjoy it.
  13. I feel like he would do the opposite. Personally, I could see it either way.
  14. He can't hit, but he plays great defense, and he took out 2 Cardinals. Ortiz is alright by me.
  15. Somebody else neats them, they have injuries, they have a couplenad starts in the series, Miz throws 2 shutdown ace gems and gor 2-3 in the other 5, etc. The Dodgers could be the best team, and there are still scenarios where the Brewers get past them. The more talent they add the more likely one of those things happens. That said, I wouldnt advocate for emptying the system to mae a 1 year run.
  16. I don't watch baseball outside of the Brewers. But I watch just about every Brewers game. So Inunderstand the Brewers are more of a complete team than almost every team because they beat the other teams 63% of the time.
  17. I think we outplayed Arizona tonight. The Brewers had 3x as many hits. Arizona had 2 shots at runs. One time they hit a homer with 2 guys on and the other they got their insurance run. The Brewers had multiple shots at runs and the only had 1 on when they hit their homer, and the Chourio solo shot was negated by their insurance run. A lot of missed opportunities mixed in.
  18. . Im not too worried, he can at least run and play D. IMO, 2 out of 3 makes the contracts worth it. Chourio looks solid. We (because Im totally part of the team) just need one of Pratt or Lara to hit to make it worthwhile. With the team options Pratt just needs to be solid to work.
  19. You stand at 2nd and watch a ball hit high off the wall, well out of reach of any human OF, instead of running home. For one
