    They just swept the Cubs. The Cubs are much closer to being the 7th seed in a 6 team tournament than they are to the Brewers. Enjoy it. One terrible outing from a reliever that wont pitch in the postseason in a game that they won anyway shouldn't ruin that.

    Just crappy enough pitching to get Cubs' fans hopes up, but not crappy enough to blow it. Well done.

    Both the Cubs and Greg show a true disdain for loyalty. And now the Cubs have a bigger payroll, and are more games behind the Brewers, and Greg is always looking sad.

    He looked like he wanted to be the one at-bat in that situation. Some dudes shrink, hes rises. Has done it in the playoffs too.

    A tale of 2 managers. One comes out and talks calmly to a young guy in a big situation with a confident smirk on his face. The other pacing and looking like hes going through a midlife crisis in real time.

    He obviously won't get it this year playing so much at short, and sharing 3rd with Hamilton for some reason. But if he's there a full year next year, I wouldn't be surprised.

    That is one of the worst slides I can remember. Head first and touch the base with your hands, feet first, and touch the base with your feet. Feet first touch the base with your hand isn't even an option.

    I think hes had a pretty good year in left, and seems to be getting better as the season goes on. Though Im prepared for someone (probably Dale) to post stats showing that I failed the eye test.

    Some people say wins and losses are an antiquated stat for Pitchers. Im pretty sure Uribe disagrees, never seen him happier.
