  1. Ive never seen that before. I wonder how many times in MLB history has a 3b started a DP with a force at second.
  2. They've had some chances to turn this game around and just haven't come through with clutch hits. And worse, just poor ABs fron Lara, Pratt, and Yelich in RBI situations.
  3. We're about to have one of those with Blake Burke
  4. He hasn't been great. But he's 22, need to have some patience I think.
  5. Two poor ABs from the rookies sunk that inning. Its not over yet though.
  6. He's due with the bases loaded
  7. We just have to get Joey O enough at-bats and we got this
  8. They went to St Louis though, which is even worse.
  9. "Baseball gods" rationalization would work better if there also weren't hard hit balls, too many walks, or if there were any swings and misses.
  10. With Bae we got swept by the Padres and the Cubs were gaining ground fast. Since they acquired Ornelas, they are undefeated and increased their division NL lead.
  11. Is it safe to take if you have moderate to severe ulcerative colitis?
  12. As much as hes improved, i dont habe the faith in Ortiz in a clutch moment.
  13. The worst case scenario when Yelich signed his contract is here. Also, the best case scenario for Ortiz moving over after bringing up Pratt.
  14. Yeah, if God came down and I said I can guarentee 6ip 3er from Gasser againt the Dodgers, or you can roll the dice, Id have taken the 6ip and 3er.
  15. Four different levels of arousal definitely gets the ball over the fence.
  16. Its the classic example of not being able to admit you are wrong. He made an off hand remark. Evidence was presented that showed he was wrong. Could have ended it with a simple, "you're right, Lockridge isn't any better, but my point stands, I dont think Lara will ever hit for enough power". That would have been reasonable, But it also would have admitted an error. Instead of admitting said error, the response becomes "but in Spring training...." Edit: And just as I finish typing, Lara lines one off the wall. Obviously someone with more power, like Lockridge, would have hit that out.
  17. Ill reserve judgement on that at bat until I see the exit velo data.
  18. And the glitter belts. Its eccentric, when you're hitting. Its tacky and clownish when you aren't
  19. No one hits the ball to the opposite field harder than Joey Ortiz, hes at the top. Great insight. Tim Dillard is the worst.
  20. Dillard get so excited about and rambling on about Rengifo afterward should be a fireable offense.
  21. If they felt comfortable playing Vaughn at 3rd twice this week, and he made 0 errors, then he should be playing ahead of Bae. Hell, play him at 2nd, couldn't have been worse.
  22. On the bright side, Im getting a full night's sleep tonight. Also, I really hate Rengifo, and Tim Dillard doing games.
