I've spent too much time thinking about this lately.  I've got to remind myself that we are the best team in baseball.

But, I mostly don't want to see the Padres due to the backend of their bullpen.  This weekend I'm rooting for the Diamondbacks (to push the Padres back a little) and the Phillies (to move ahead of the Padres)

This happened.  Both teams absolutely hate it, but their meaningless last game of the season will be Sunday in Tampa.

A modest proposal:  if the winner of the AL West -- Rangers or Astros -- isn't at least .500, then they should decline to participate in the playoffs, like some college football teams do with bowl games.

If the Brewers were ending the reg season on the road, I wonder if it would've been moved to Milwaukee. It would give the 'visiting' team a severe advantage AFA fans in the seats, but MLB did the same thing to their advantage years ago.

I would be careful with anyone that’s nursing any sort of injury.   Especially with hime field throughout locked up.

I'm not a fan of Murph embarrassing players publicly.  If he wants to stare at a guy when he comes back to the dugout, fine.  If he wants a post game meeting in his office, fine.  But that kind of stuff should be handled quietly, not in front of 10 million people.
