Here is some of the latest Brewers analysis from around the internet. The 2026 Brewers' dominance through four-seam fastballs, Brice Turang's historic season, and Andrew Fischer's Hitting Prospect of the Year recognition are highlighted.

  • Baseball's best team dominates with good old heat (MLB.com). Argues that the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers dominate with an unprecedented focus on four-seam fastballs, using them more frequently and effectively than any other team in the pitch-tracking era, evidenced by their record 446 strikeouts on four-seamers and 850 swings-and-misses on the pitch.
  • Brewers Notebook: Turang Helps Tie a Bow on Top Season in Team History (Just Baseball). Notes that the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers continued winning late in the season despite resting players, with Brice Turang hitting 21 home runs and driving in 100 runs, and Jacob Misiorowski leading MLB in strikeouts and posting a 1.80 ERA, the lowest in Brewers history for a starter with at least 20 starts.
  • Brewers' Fischer named Hitting Prospect of the Year after historic campaign (MLB.com). Notes that Andrew Fischer was named Hitting Prospect of the Year after hitting 48 homers in 126 games in the minors, the most since 1982, with a .654 slugging percentage, 1.067 OPS, and 287 total bases, outperforming other top prospects.

I don’t want to overthink the article and have not read it actually, but I suspect one of our starting pitchers is primarily responsible

Yes, but it highlights others:

Logan Henderson threw 46% four-seamers and struck out 59 batters with them. Kyle Harrison threw 57% four-seamers and struck out 86. Even Robert Gasser and Shane Drohan kicked in 30-plus four-seamer K's each.
