    I'm not quite sure what you mean. Yelich may well not be back in 5 weeks, but I would be surprised if the other two are not. Their returns are very much in sight within that window.

    I think the answer is "longer than the fans can take it." :) He's shown a long leash and continues to value his defense, so I would suspect Pratt or Jett will really have to force the issue. Especially if other players come back and are providing the offense. If the 9 hitter is hitting .200, they're just going to live with it.

    Yes. Just because someone isn't a superstar doesn't mean they belong in the minors. Lockridge is clearly a 4th OF type. He's hitting .267, he's not a black hole.

    Sanchez is not a minor leaguer. Lockridge is not a minor leaguer. Yes, when you have 3 of your best hitters on the IL it's going to be rough unless you're the Dodgers. That's just a fact of life. Sproat had a rough couple starts but he clearly is MLB caliber in what he's showing today.

    This is likely a fruitless debate, but you do understand that they're only spending a couple million this year, right? They didn't throw $50M in an escrow account for future Pratt expenses. Your point really doesn't hold water.
