Is Rickie the fastest player on the team, in addition to being the strongest and with the quickest hands?

Good lord he's fast. I think I'm in love.

Side note, Hardy has started the last 5 at SS, and he is 5-19 with 3 doubles. It's not All Star material, but it is an indication that playing every day does make a difference for the kids.

You simply cannot afford to walk castillo or pierre in this lineup, I'd rather throw it down the middle and take my chances that they hit a rare HR than do that.

That's the first time in three starts ( Toronto on June 18 ) that the Brewers have scored a run in an inning, and Sheets has gone out the next inning and not given up a run. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Bill says he can't remember the last time the Brewers didn't have any left handed batters in the starting lineup. Apparently he doesn't have any recollection of that game against Santana a couple of weeks ago. But, you know, it's not like anything memorable happened in that game.

The ball seems to sound dead coming off the Brewers' bats against Olsen. He's got a heavy, heavy fastball.

Is Miller hurt again or are we letting the Chad Moeller show run wild?

I know it's his turn today but why wasn't Miller playing yesturday?

Also, it is interesting to see Sheets without sleeves on today. Historically he has always sported a dark blue sweatshirt under his jersey even on really, really hot days. I don't know if that was superstition or a comfort thing, but I've always been curious about why he would torture himself like that.

Brian the Automator asked:

Magruder was swapped out for Jenkins? Is there sort of imminent transaction?

Good question. I'd have to guess right off the bat to look at L.A. Dodgers for a trade since Drew just went down. Think I'll make my way to the trade thread...

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Bill and Daron are talking about how Benny is throwing some changeups... not sure if that means the curve isn't working or what...

That would be incredible. What a way to make my day - Branyan's back and Jenks gone? I doubt it, though, he just doesn't seem to make sense for a brilliant guy like DePod to pick up.

Wow, that is the most exited I have gotten about a fielder's choice that did not score a run. Rickie crushes it, Lowell is merely protecting his own life to come up with it, and then Rickie is fast enough to beat out the turn.

Maybe Bennie is feeling better today, he seems to have a swagger. He is maaking me a little nervous, though. He is gettling an awful lot of the plate. Granted, it is at 96.

I think it was just Yost's "day game after a night game" thing.

Most teams sit their catcher in day games after night games and today its Moeller because he usually catches for Ben.

Three strikes without swinging the bat, can't let that happen JJ.
