I think the Crew can handle Vogelsong, he has a 6.69 ERA this year and was just inserted back into the rotation because of the Benson trade. Should be interesting.

Glad to see the Wilsons sucking tonight. The only bad part about Doug Davis' outing was that he had 4 walks...but he didn't give up any runs and basically shut down the bats the Pirates have. Nicely pitched game!

I don't mind the walks from Davis.......when he's pitching good. When he only hits 87-88 mph, I'd rather see him let a guy go on 3-2 rather than pipe one down the middle.

Totally agree there. For the most part, he has solid control and can throw strikes. I really like how he gets ahead in the count and when he does, he usually wins. He's a very good pitcher, and I expect him to do big things (provided he can get run support!) in the future.

Vizco is amazing. If the Devil Rays can get Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano, I shutter to think what we could get for Luis.

 

I really hope the Nugget Miner is entertaining offers for him.
