Wow OK Ben you can pitch on Thursday in my book. We need that first game and this was his day to pitch on the side. Very impressive but of course they hardly mentioned him. Tejada's swing when he never got around on a pitch. Good showing Brew Crew!

Not sure what's funnier, McCarver calling it a slider, or people on this board being so critical of someone who doesn't follow Sheets on a daily basis. I learned how foolish the media can be in 2002. The Crew was on national TV twice in a week, and in one game the ESPN announcer said that Sexson was a dead pull hitter (he then went for a double to right-center) and in the next game they praised how Sexson uses the whole field. They just don't do their homework. Give it a rest and enjoy the game.
