Um, Podsednik just didn't realize how many outs there were. What's up, 'zilla? Late night with Lisa?

What's to say Grive could play 1st?

Comment about our newfound love of playing our infielders all over the place.

With a man on 1st, and less than 2 outs, regardless of alignment and trends of the current batter, wouldn't you want your 2nd sacker at least close enough to 2nd to be able to turn a deuce, especially with a GB pitcher on the mound?

It seems to me that outfielders have been playing deeper against Overbay to cut off the gap and limit his doubles, has anyone else noticed this?

Talk about hitting the nail on the head Hoffy. He was playing on the track darn near, and came in and made a BUTT-AWFUL looking dive on a low liner.

IF Roberts had, ya know, RAN out of the box, it might have been inside-the-park territory.

I'll go with yes.

I like the defensive experimentation with regard to positioning, but that was a tough play for Spivey to even *cover* second, much less turn two.

On an unrelated note, the pace of this game thread has decreased substantially. You chat room goers are discriminating against your Mac brethren. It's racism, I tell you... 'cept for operating systems. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif

Boy, that Ginter kid sure sucks. He can't hit a lick.

Sutton, you're an idiot.

Why NOT go for 3rd with 2 outs?

BECAUSE HE'LL SCORE FROM 2ND ON A SINGLE NUMB NUTS!!!!!!!!

Somebody want to start that "least favorite Brewer" poll right about now?

Freakin' Bennett. I'd rather have Ben Sheets bat... at least the pitcher will actually have to throw more than one pitch.

ARGH.

Oh my god is Gary Bennet SLOW. That 8th spot in the lineup is becoming a real cancer.

I miss Keith Osik.

So it just seems that way?

Yeah. Moeller's OPS is .676... bad, but better than Bennett. More importantly, Moeller seems to show signs of being able to hit, a skill that alludes Mr. Bennett.

It isn't good when Eddie Perez and Keith Osik are superior offensive players to your team's catching duo.

Argh. Jackson has really turned things around since the first couple frames... I'm impressed, much like I thought I'd be. I'm sure he had a lot of nerves, too, despite his previous experience in the big leagues.

I still find his arm action a bit ackward, but now that he's harnessed the fastball he's definitely something to watch. Mid-90s with a ton of movement is hard to find.

C'mon, Crew... stop sucking!
