Irish Fest is this weekend!

[makwaloon]

For those who have never been to Irish Fest, I highly recommend giving it a try this weekend between ball games. This is the largest Irish cultural festivel in the world. It is now consistently the largest ethnic festival in the city. Plenty of great food, culture, musical acts and lots of beer flowing. It's a big party from the preview night on Thursday to the Scattering (all musicians gather on the same stage to end the fest) on Sunday night. Here are some musical acts to check out. The Irish Fest website gives a great synopsis on each artist.

Leahy

Seven Nations (Saturday only)

Dave Munnelly Band

Scythian

The Tossers (Saturday only)

Gaelic Storm

Enter the Haggis

Finbar McCarthy

Cherish the Ladies Reunion (Saturday)
