Batting Practice

So I have been to MP many times but I am usually tailgating in the parking lot right up until gametime. I thought it would be cool to watch some of the guys take BP, but I didnt know what time I needed to get there for that. Any thoughts?

Ah. So if I am understanding correctly, it is not possible to see the Brewers take their batting practice except for possibly the last few minutes there.

Not really. Once in a great while you can catch them, I have seen them take BP (or at least the last group) a few times, usually Friday games.

If you are going to one of these Cards games, watch Duncan take BP, though. He has the most power I have ever witnessed.

You can also get in as early as 4pm, if you go have dinner at tgif, when they ask how many people are with you, all you have to do is ask for a table out side, but be carefull, i was eating not paying attention and a heard some else yelling, heads up and the ball hit my meun and the menu went flying, i came with a inch of getting hit.

The last few Sundays the Brewers have hit second. That gave everyone an hour of Brewers BP.

Watch Albert Pujols. I have witnessed his BP and he hit them as far as Sosa did during the HR derby in Milwaukee. Yes, completely out of the park (through the open panels).

I agree, he puts on a show. Prince can get into a few as well. Last homestand he hit one out in RF that completely left the park, on the fly, through one of the panels. Amazing!

Manny Parra absolutely killed the ball during early pitchers batting practice Tuesday. Vargas can take some cuts as well.
