  1. Darrell Hammond is 59.
  2. The last time the Indians came to Milwaukee they played the Angels. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2832830 2006 was the last time they played the Brewers in Milwaukee.
  3. Thanks for posting this. I take it you didn't need a receipt since you don't know how much you paid for it. It talks about a return kit. Did you have to send the whole unit back?
  4. It was an 80 mph curveball that didn't curve. Still can do damage but when you intentionally go up and in on someone, it's a fastball.
  5. I think he's suggesting the Brewers look for pitchers who are being undervalued simply because they are under 6' 2" but have the stats or other indicators that they are being undervalued. I don't think the Brewers have been targeting under 6' 2" guys in the draft.
  6. Foster Brooks wasn't a character, that was his name. His shtick was portraying a drunk. Cliff Arquette portrayed Charlie Weaver.
  7. My experience with Milwaukee water from Lake Michigan is it's on the medium side for hardness. A softener isn't needed for Milwaukee water. I doubt it's lime buildup. Water from wells, private and municipal, is truly hard.
  8. Plunging won't take care of everything. After we bought our house many years ago I used a wire coat hanger and found a rose stem lodged in the toilet drain a few inches beyond where I could reach that was catching 'things'. Usually it flushed ok but sometimes didn't, probably when a lot of paper or whatever had caught on the stem. The vent is a possibility but if it flushes normally sometimes probably not. I would think the vent would either always be plugged or not. You could try snaking it though you have to be careful not to damage the toilet. Last thing would be to turn the water off, flush, sop up the remaining water in the tank, take it off, take the bowl off and check the trap. Put in a new wax ring and put the toilet back on. I'm sure there are plenty of videos on the internet on how to do that.
  9. It's mostly halogen and HID bulbs. Finger oils can shorten their life. http://www.ehow.com/facts_7371358_do-go-bad-touch-them_.html
  10. If you were in a truly 'laid off' status vs. being terminated outright due to the economy etc., they may have waited a longer time to reclaim their contributions thinking you may return at some point. Five years isn't an unusual period for full vesting. Partial vesting normally occurs before that. How long were you there? If you were only 20% vested I'm thinking 2 years or less.
  11. In any case, the school should have a parking regulation webpage on their site that you might want to check out. And they probably don't need a reason to make the rule or enforce it. At my daughter's college they prohibit pulling through or backing in but there the permit is affixed to the back driver's side window.
  12. Does the parking lot require a permit affixed near the back of the car? They may want to be able to see the stickers as they drive by.
  13. Don't know how you will what this year? File? Your two choices are married filing jointly and married filing separately. It's unusual when married filing separately results in less total tax owed but you can run the numbers both ways to find out. It's also complicated somewhat because Wisconsin is a community property state. https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/tax-tips/General-Tax-Tips/Five-Tax-Tips-for-Community-Property-States/INF22912.html
  14. The difference in withholding on those checks with a couple hundred extra dollars on them is also going to depend on how many allowances you claimed on your W-4. You said you're married and are both working so you and your wife need to coordinate how many allowances you are claiming in total. http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf Line C is the one you may need to adjust. If you have kids then others might apply too.
  15. From what I can tell this is the 4th year of his contract, but I would think that's what teams often get at the end of veteran player's contracts. The next couple years could be brutal. You have to look at what they provided along the way. Would he have signed if the contract was shorter? It's the way things work these days. Some teams can afford these contracts more than others.
  16. You could search for updated drivers for your graphics card/built-in graphics that may help.
  17. Wide screen monitors have a recommended native resolution. Check the manual or search the model online to see what it is. How old is your desktop? It may be that your graphics card or built-in graphics isn't capable of producing the native resolution the new monitors require for their best picture.
  18. He has no hits in 64 minor league PAs. One RBI though.
  19. We did this over 2 weeks in 2000 with 2 kids, 10 & 8. The focus was on natural areas, historical areas, short hiking etc. So not sure if it fits what you'd want. We drove through Canada from Michigan, saw Niagara Falls, Toronto, then headed thru upstate New York(Lake Placid), Vermont, NH, Maine, Boston, Cape Cod, RI, CT. I think you need passports to get into Canada now. Some highlights besides the Falls: The Franconia Notch State Park area in NH. Interesting walks/hikes but the Old Man in the Mountain is gone now, though it wasn't all that much. Scenic drives. Mt. Washington in NH. Acadia National Park in Maine and the town of Bar Harbor next to it. The town is touristy but still interesting, the Park interesting, great views, hikes. We went on a lobster boat tour and they pull up lobster traps, except there's a law they can't pull up traps on Sunday. The Freedom trail in Boston is interesting, driving to Cape Cod etc. The Mystic Aquarium in CT was interesting. We enjoyed what we did very much though we had to keep in mind the attention span of kids that age so. You can google all these things and more for more info.
  20. Apparently RR was walking back to the dugout. Probably wasn't a camera on him at the time.
  21. He missed the tag when he went to tag the butt but Luc was motioning he got him on the sleeve before that. You couldn't tell whether that was the case from what looked like the definitive angle.
  22. Here's the Miller Park A-Z guide: http://mlb.mlb.com/mil/ballpark/information/index.jsp?content=guide For carry-ins they don't allow glass bottles or cans, unopened plastic is ok. So plastic baby bottles may be better than glass but I don't know. There is a guest relations phone number you can call near the top of the link.
