I miss Max Kellerman

Does anyone know what he's doing? Can he be in the booth for the Brewers? I realize "I, Max" was possibly the worst career move ever, but he still went to FSN, can't he just move to FSN Wisconsin? The Disembodied voice could do color while he does play-by-play. Wow I'm seriously getting excited just thinking about this.

He's on HBO Boxing After Dark, and he's going to be taking Larry Merchant's place eventually. He's awesome.

 

I believe he has a radio show in New York, as well.

I like Max's show on FSN. I used to watch it quite a bit. He has a good voice.

I used to love Max on Friday Night Fights. His knowledge of boxing and boxing history at such a young age was unreal. Pretty amazing how he was discovered if I remember the story correctly too. Didn't he have his own cable access show in New York at the age of like 16 or something? On to Wikipedia...

 

I agree, great voice. I know he used to do a radio show before Around The Horn and I, Max. I wonder if he's still doing it and if it's available online?

yeah, I liked that guy, but he was/isway to New York to ever take a job in Wisconsin. Plus I think boxing is his calling.

I was just thinking of Max today. I miss him too. Quiting Around the Horn was a bonehead move but I can't blame anyone for wanting to get away from Jay Marriotti.

Have to agree with JimH. I'm not a boxing fan, and from what I've heard that's his specialty, but I couldn't stand him when he was on Around the Horn.
