Blue Screen of Death

Just got it on my laptop... I've gotta be honest, I have no idea what the next step to take is.. I'm going to try and get through to download all of my files on there - but it's done it three times in the last half hour...

 

Any hints/tips/options?

Change to Mac?

System Restore. If that doesn't work, re-install Windows or whatever you use. If you do have to go that route, transfer any vital files over to your PC or an external hard drive or it will get deleted.

Wow, people actually use the term "Blue screen of death"? I thought that was just something the people in my company made up. Anyway, I can't help. When it starts happening to frequently I get my harddrive replaced.

If system restore doesn't work, you can recover documents and files from your hard drive - just have a professional hook your hard drive up to another computer as a second hard drive (not the boot drive) and you can pull the files off.
