Total bases

I think there is an error on the stats FAQ page.

Total Bases is listed as H + (2 x 2B) + (3 x 3B) + (4 x HR).

I believe it should be: 1B + (2 x 2B) + (3 x 3B) + (4 x HR), otherwise it would award an extra base for each extra base hit.

Total Bases = H + 2B + (2 x 3B) + (3 x HR).

You're correct.

 

An alternate formula would be:

 

H + 2B + (2 x 3B) + (3 x HR)

 

The formula you've provided makes more sense when you glance at it. The formula I've provided 'matches up' better to most stat pages (they tend to not list singles).
