Tentative schedule vs. Actual Schedule...

Going by the "tentative" schedule and due to the fact of airline prices going up and hotel rooms becoming limited, I booked a trip to Boston for the Milwaukee series in May. Now I've kind of become worried that they'll change the dates on me for some reason. Anyone ever remember this happening before? I've also got connections with people for tickets so everything seems to be falling in place. One date change could totally mess it up.

Connections for tickets? Do share!

I think I have 10 or so friends who want to try to make the series. I'm seriously worried we won't be able to get tickets though.

Some of us plan to drive out, and hit Cooperstown on the way. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Please hit me up with any plans/suggestions that anyone has for the Boston series. I think I've talked my wife into going for a long weekend. I'd love to hear any "secrets" of where to stay or things to do. It will be my first trip to Boston.

I have two connections for tickets but they're not guarantees. One's considered a Red Sox season ticket holder but he's more wrapped up in the Series right now. I'm just hoping to get enough for the people I have going. If somehow I get more I'll definitely come here first. I'm not sure when single games go on sale but hitting their website at that time seems like a good option from what I've heard.

To me it seemed like hotels are getting full already. And airline tickets from Milwaukee were going up. We're staying a couple miles away from Fenway. My daughter needed a place with an indoor pool so there may be places closer if you don't need that. The Midway Hotel seemed like a cheaper place within a mile I believe (only had an outdoor pool). Hotels are pretty pricey the closer you get. I've heard the subway system is pretty decent so being further away wasn't a huge deal.

My friends from the area also said a Fenway Park tour is a must-do.

i wouldnt think dates would change...especially considering the brewers sent me a magnet schedule with my season ticket renewal.

anything is possible though

I have a high school classmate who goes to MIT, so I'm hoping I can, first get tickets, and second crash at his place for a weekend. It seems like a lot of people on the board are wanting to make a trip to Boston this year. It would be cool to have a strong Brewer cheering section that weekend in Fenway.
