Lack of a toolbar

Does anybody know if it is because I am using a Mac and/or Safari that I don't have tools to be able to use (bold, italic, quote, etc)? I thought for the longest time, and meant to post something, that there was some place in my profile that I needed to change and just couldn't find it... but today I used a PC and I had the toolbar. Some help/input would be nice. Thanks

I'm in the same boat areacodes. If you check out the "Brewerfan.net Usability" thread in this very same forum you can read about the Safari issues.

 

Get used to coding for things bold, quotes, links, pictures, etc. yourself. Here's a handy link (that someone was kind enough to pass along to me when I had the same question) for figuring out the coding world if you don't have one already:
