"I'm on the fence with it," DeRosa said Monday. "My personal opinion is that I find it hard to believe a utility man is as important as an everyday player. He's not. Period."

"At the same time," DeRosa said, "I find it hard to believe I'm going to get playing time if you acquire a player of that caliber [as Roberts]. You've got Fukudome in right, you've got Aramis at third, you've got Roberts at second, you've got [Alfonso Soriano] in left. Where am I going to play?

I'd love to have DeRosa on the brewers, but the only way they could carve enough AB for him is if they traded Hall, which I wouldn't advocate.

If he wants to be traded just pick a fight with Zambrano

Does he begin every sentence with the phrase "I find it hard to believe..."?

Piniella: "Mark, you're pinch-hitting. Grab a bat."

Derosa: "Skip, I find it hard to believe that I'm going to get on base against Ben Sheets. I'm just not that talented."
