  1. This team seems like they just can't get over that hump of scoring 2 runs, then they get behind and they try to hit a 10-run homerun and that's the way the innings go.
  2. Hey, another first pitch double-play! Aggressive!
  3. What's the O/U on pitches seen by Brewer hitters this inning? 12?
  4. 59 pitches for Penny through 5 and he's walked what, three or four hitters? That's pathetic.
  5. I called that. Rami walks in pitches well out of the zone and Braun swings at the first pitch. Lol at Davis. Is there a higher power at work here? Maybe Hank wasn't to be taken from Florida.
  6. Get him out of there. Actually, whatever; 6 runs likely means game over. Maybe Yo was drunk during the players meeting.
  7. So who's going to get hit for the Brewers today? Lucroy, Braun, Gomez..?
  8. Demoralizing as this losing streak is, that's still a ridiculous statement. Well, I disagree. I always sensed it was coming and here it is; the team has been mediocre since May.
  9. 9 in a row. You knew the collapse was coming, only a matter of when.
  10. I hate to advocate this, and I'd love to see some continuity with the coaching staff, but I really wonder if a turnover is coming. I actually don't hate RRR like many here, or really the other coaches as I tend to think it always comes down to the players. But this stretch will prove SO costly to the franchise and the play on the field hasn't just been bad, it's been embarrassing. Bad pitching - OK, that happens. Bad offense - OK, it's been off and on all year. But the bad baserunning has continued, the bad defense - and the plays that haven't even been called errors have been a complete joke. Who's a leader on the team? Not that this is a sure-fire way to get a team right, but who is actually stepping up and holding people accountable for their poor play? This "ho-hum, we'll get 'em tomorrow" isn't going to work in about 5 days, because the 'tomorrow' they're referring to will be a matter of just showing up to the park, and collecting a pay-check. Meanwhile, millions of fans have paid to see them and rallied behind them only to see this team look completely lifeless when it counts the most. /rant
  11. This is one of the worst stretches I can remember. Everything for the Brewers getting caught, everything for the other teams dropping. When you factor in the consequences of this losing streak, it has to be one of the worst in franchise history, right?
  12. You can hear the difference in Brian Anderson's voice. Don't know if it's because of the passing of Bruce Seid, or the play of the Brewers. Probably a combination of both.
  13. Johnny Narron would likely get axed first - if they were really going to axe anyone. Just my humble opinion, of course.
  14. But he has done nothing with a pretty talented roster. I'm not sure the roster is that talented....Brewers were picked to finish 4th in the division and they will probably finish 3rd Successful season!
  15. Is Gallardo at 100 pitches yet, or does he have another inning in him?
  16. Gallardo is putting it on a tee for these guys. Sheesh.
  17. Bo Porter was fired by the Astros. Curious as to why now -- must have been a clubhouse issue.
  18. The players all know what's on the line; it's not like they can try harder and accomplish their goal of winning more games. Just can't press and hope that things change - but it might take a spark from someone to do something to cut the tension (the story of Mike Redmond taking BP naked comes to mind - I think the Twins went on a tear after he did that). Someone to just remind them all to have fun and be loose - right now they're folding and looking like they're pressing big time.
