  1. Would rather see Jackson try to hit the ball in the gap somewhere but I get what he's trying to do.
  2. I haven't seen it but wonder if it's similar to a fielder getting the "yips" with their throws. God knows it has happened to me and was damn hard to correct.
  3. It appears as though Corbin Burnes has suffered an elbow injury. Best wishes to him.
  4. Not to pile on, but even before tonight I feel like this is a bad take. The Brewers obviously see something they like. Since the trade he's eaten a lot of innings and seems to be getting better and more comfortable and there's tons of team control there.
  5. A couple of missiles from Yelich and Contreras and we've got a 2-out rally.
  6. I have been listening a lot over the weekend and I think the radio broadcast (from what MLB provides me) is about 6 commercials. It's not all that different from TV but a few of the "punch lines" get really loud.
  7. The 'Brandon Woodruff to the Major Leagues' saga feels a lot like when you're dreaming and trying to get to the game but you're always missing an item: glove, jersey, pants, bat, etc. Feels like Woodruff is going to be "ready" for MLB but then hurt something else and need a few more starts. This team is going nowhere unless they improve the offense so I wouldn't blame him if he's waiting, or the organization is waiting, whatever. But at this point it just seems like he's going to throw about 50 innings at the MLB level.
  8. This team is a few bats and a big arm (or two) away from being a competitor, IMO. I still watch and get worked up but yeah, I don't have big expectations any more. Just not enough talent on the big league roster.
  9. I would take just about any other pitcher on this roster than Alexander at this point.
  10. Alexander sucks but I was informed there are no other possibilities as "half the team is on the IL".
