  1. Are we asking Sal to hit the ball in the gap or to put the bunt down?
  2. I have a hard time blaming Vaughn at all. He hit didn't get a hit in the 9th but he moved Yeli into scoring position with less than 2 out. Turang just had a terrible AB. I thought the game was lost in the 8th inning. That was just all sorts of stupid.
  3. Can't Sal bunt?! He can likely do it better than Perkins.
  4. That's a bad performance by the offense and guys put in terrible positions. Yuck.
  5. What a useless AB. Tons of that going around tonight.
  6. That inning was Murphy over-thinking it. Let Hamilton just bunt. At least he's not likely to commit a mortal sin and ground into a DP. With Sanchez it was a high probability and there it was. Perk sucks. If the bunt is the move, let Frelick do it. Just maddening decisions that inning that resulted in exactly what we thought it would.
  7. Man they just can not touch this guy. Every time he faces them, no matter how well they're swinging the bats, it seems like they're completely lost.
  8. It's a little crazy to me that Turang has really been so good for a year now that even during his slump I kept thinking. "this dude is about to go on a tear". When Turang came up even into parts of last season you just kind of accepted the slumps and hoped he'd run into some. He is a completely different hitter from then.
  9. I wonder how many Miller Lites Vogey could crush in a single cross-country flight.
  10. Murphy shouldn't have let Sproat go out for the 5th inning. Also, Murphy should get after his offense.
  11. Top 100 guy, IIRC. Look, the guy is struggling to locate, but the stuff is there. It's silly to say he doesn't have good stuff; he's just not sure how to harness or use it.
  12. Not if you jettison Rengifo and call up Williams 😁
  13. Why not just leave Rodriquez in to do that?
  14. You knew Chourio was due. He smoked that one.
  15. Usually that means a big inning is coming but Teng is just kind of effectively wild. Plus I don't think any of these Brewer hitters have seen him?
  16. 436 feet and approximately 40' up the pole. I don't know what that translates into but that's a poke. Agreed it must've been close to 500'.
  17. The mark on the pole was there for years. That was an absolute rocket and Sexson (I believe) got a 3B?
