We saw Chourio get better at every level as he had his initial "getting to know the league" period. In MLB, you could start to see him sit on those outside breaking balls and start making better swing decisions but not having the luck toward the end of his "down days" which were what, into June? I honestly can't recall. I do remember seeing a LOT better at bats without the results but you could see him barreling more baseballs.
The results are ridiculous, but it could also be a factor of getting big league coaching and perspectives rather than minor league perspectives. The minor league results were awesome; the big league results seem supercharged based on the coaching from teammates, better scouting reports/coaching, the confidence, etc.
If he stays healthy, he's a perennial MVP candidate, in my opinion.
