  1. You'll have to excuse Scoot; he has some seriously unreal expectations of our prospects.
  2. That's probably the best way to put it. I don't expect a lot of pop and exit velo from Durbin or Collins (as regulars) but I know they're going to be a tough out and generally make good swing decisions. I am not seeing anything even close to that with Ortiz.
  3. I'm a little surprised Hall isn't getting another inning but maybe Murph is thinking about him for Wednesday?
  4. I actually think Happ may have beaten out the throw. For whatever reason, Miz took a really long time to field the ball and by the time he was ready to make the throw, Happ was closing in. Even with Miz's arm I'm not sure he gets him.
  5. Bill Schroeder's glasses are terrible. This is not the first time I have said this, lol
  6. Looks like Jansen and the Brewers will have a mutual option in '26 and UFA heading into the 2027 season if I'm reading it correctly?
  7. I would trade Henderson for Suarez because it would mean the Cubs didn't get Suarez and they might overpay for a lessor bat. I like Henderson and it would sting but I think the Brewers can afford him for the rental.
  8. I've been thinking lately that I wish the Brewers had Chourio for longer than what they do have him for. He's 21 and is becoming an offensive force.
  9. If Contreras must play, and it seems like he must, can't he be moved to like 5th or 6th at least? I know Murphy kind of likes a "second leadoff hitter" toward that sport but couldn't Contreras then act as a 2nd #2 hitter? I don't know who I would rather give 2, 3, or 4 at bats to but I would think Frelick, Chourio, Yelich, Vaugh, Collins? Maybe that 1-5 when Vaughn is going to play? Collins could slide into #2 spot if Vaughn is going to be on the bench. I think Frelick and Chourio need the most at bats, with Yelich 3rd. Until Contreras starts at least putting together more competitive at bats (I understand his power is going to be limited with his hand) he doesn't need to see the 3rd or 4th most at bats on the team, IMO.
