  1. I had the Cardinals counted out at the All-Star break last season. I imagine I'll be doing the same this year. Their win total under may be my favorite bet on the board.
  2. It's not even 2 weeks, but yeah, weird one.
  3. I doubt it, but I don't know. When I know I'll have a much more definite answer. There is concern though.
  4. I also find it funny that few seem to care about the money, just "YAY WOODY"! It's like some of you think you're Yankees fans or something. Hilarious on a bunch of levels.
  5. Well, sure. His shoulder's opinion is the only one that matters.
  6. 2/12 is too much in my opinion, but it's definitely not a big deal. I'm of the opinion that there's like a 90% chance he's never effective again. That's why I'm more concerned about the money than most of you here. Hoping for the best.
  7. Why? I'm happy he's back but the financials matter obviously.
  8. I'm not sure I agree. What do you think the numbers will be? I honestly don't have any idea personally, but if it's 17MM next year (as Brock threw out), that could definitely hurt the team if he's hurt/bad.
  9. True. As long as it's not the crazy numbers that were being discussed here in November.
  10. We don't know that yet. I hope you're right. As always, it comes down to the numbers.
  11. Holding my breath here. I love Woody as much as the next guy, but man, I hope there's not much guaranteed money.
  12. Never liked the pick. He had me fooled in 2019 though. Seems like a good dude though so I wish him the best.
  13. That would seem like a massive mistake on San Diego's part. Do all that work to build a relationship with a 17 year old and then trade him immediately? Yikes.
  14. I'm not a big Cabrera guy. I'd pass on this. I'll be absolutely shocked if Adames accepts a QO. Only way he does is if he's terrible this year, which means we wouldn't offer it. There's risk there, but I personally believe it's minimal. Having said that, I'd definitely deal Adames in the right trade, but this isn't it for me.
  15. Or there's a deal that's almost done to open up a 40 man spot. Or both.
  16. I would've been happy to get an actual lottery ticket for Andrews.
  17. Agree with the potential/production argument. Slippery slope. I had Rodriguez at 5 based on potential (obviously). I would also like to point out that I've ranked Gilbert Lara and Hedbert Perez well within my top 5 in the past as well (but Chourio too).
  18. I'd be fine with it. I always thought the 2/25 talk was crazy, but we'll see. It certainly makes zero sense for us. 2/8 w/escalators for games started, fine. I kinda think his career is in serious jeopardy though.
  19. I know voting is closed, but I wanted to make a list anyway. Thanks for putting this together. 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Jeferson Quero 3. Jacob Misiorowski 4. Joey Ortiz 5. Yophery Rodriguez 6. Tyler Black 7. Brock Wilken 8. Luis Lara 9. D.L. Hall 10. Cooper Pratt 11. Robert Gasser 12. Carlos Rodriguez 13. Eric Bitonti 14. Eric Brown, Jr. 15. Bradley Blalock 16. Josh Knoth 17. Felippo Di Turri 18. Logan Henderson 19. Jadher Areinamo 20. Luke Adams
  20. Agree 100%. My least favorite Brewer trade since Daniel Norris.
  21. I think this is wildly unlikely.
  22. I get it. I would only trade him for controllable pitching, which, to me anyway, is far more important than any other position.
  23. Jesus Luzardo. I'm speaking this into existence.
  24. An important distinction that few here seem to have grasped.
