    What an absolute joke. Where was Jenkins? And what was Lyle doing? Santos is pitching great and getting zero support. Yeah, Jim Edmonds is a great centerfielder. Brady Clark is a bad centerfielder. Clark's not bad... I just think it's cool that two guys with totally different styles can both play big league centerfield. Edmonds really is great, though. ~Bill

    I love watching Jim Edmonds play center. He's like the exact opposite of Brady Clark, whom I also like to watch. Clark is Mr. Fundamentals, and Edmonds is Mr. Funkadelic... they are a great study in contrasting styles. ~Bill

    BaseballReference.com lists the top five active hitters as Helton, Vlad, Nomar, Man-Ram, and Piazza. Pujols and Ichiro! don't qualify (3,000 PA) but if they did, Ichiro's .339 would be first and Pujols' .333 would be third with Helton's .339 in between. Good question. ~Bill

    Turnbow is a totally different pitcher against right-handers and left-handers. He couldn't find the zone against Edmonds, but he's hit his spots pretty well with a right-hander up. Weird. EDIT: He just hit 98. Wow. ~Bill
