  1. Oh wow. I thought that was gone. Thank you end of the bat. That Sammy dance was lame. ~Bill
  2. More Jorge? Adams? Turnbow? ~Bill
  3. I think I just had a heart attack. My arteries hurt. *exhale* ~Bill
  4. YES! That was mighty impressive. That's easily the best I've ever seen him pitch. That's almost Oliver Perez good. ~Bill
  5. SMOKING!!! Dude is amazing. ~Bill
  6. 96 at the knees on the outside corner. Unbelievable. ~Bill
  7. Filthy. WOW. 95 on the black, baby. ~Bill
  8. JDLR is either real good or real bad. This would be a good time for the former. Go fight win, King George. ~Bill
  9. Terry Craft gets neither an In-N-Out burger nor a White Castle burger. Boo. Wise, on the other hand, gets whatever he wants. And Mike Remlinger gets a bottle of Just For Men Gel. ~Bill
  10. Just by glancing, I'd guess he put on about 10-15 pounds. So how many In-N-Out burgers is that? ~Bill
  11. Man, that was filthy. And a great play by Lyle. I'm impressed. Wise is the man. ~Bill
  12. Wise is really looking good so far this year. But for someone who allegedly gained a lot of weight, I really can't tell. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif ~Bill
  13. Argh... that looked outside, but he's gotta swing there. So who's next out of the Brewers' pen? ~Bill
  14. Kudos to Ned for letting Russell hit vs. the LHP. QFA. ~Bill
  15. Well I would think its more a case of small sample size coming into play. That could well be. Maybe I was just spoiled by Scotty Po. I just hope that Yost realizes that Clark is not someone who is a Weapon on the bases like Po. ~Bill
  16. Having a catcher that can hit is so awesome, it is beyond awesomeness. ~Bill
  17. Here comes Mr. Greybeard again. Pinch-hit for Jenkins with C-Mags? I don't know. ~Bill
  18. Heading into today Clark is 35 SB, 14 CS for his career, thats not really bad at all. That looked really ugly though, I have to agree that it seems like a botched hit and run. Yeah, but he was very good in 2003 and was terrible last season. The trend line seems to indicate that he's lost a step or four. ~Bill
  19. Yeah, he was safe. Could have been a botched hit and run, but even that is a silly call with Lyle up. Just let the dude hit. WOW... great play by Hall. I guess I can rescind New Rule #1. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif ~Bill
  20. This "aggressive baserunning" thing has got to stop. Brady Clark was a terrible base stealer last year and it seems likely that at his age he's going to continue to be a terrible base stealer. Overbay and Lee are really, really good hitters... just stay put and let them drive you in. I thought we got Lee from the White Sox because they were the ones that wanted to play smallball, not the other way around. :? ~Bill
  21. For as bad as our bench is, its pretty hard to argue that the Cubs' isn't worse.... It's close. They've got the advantage, I think, as sad as that is, just because of the Hairston/Walker and Dubois/Hollandsworth platoons. No matter who starts, they have two pretty good hitters available every game. We don't really have any, unless Cirillo is for real. ~Bill
  22. I probably would have gone with Kelton to have the chance to hit the salami. Kelton isn't on the team. The available options were Blanco, Neifi, Macias, and Dubois. Dubois is clearly the best hitter of that fearsome foursome. Down a few runs, they needed a run. When you need a run and Neifi Perez is the answer, you're asking the wrong question. In the end, they tied the game, so whatever happened worked. Obviously, but it was still a poor decision unless Dusty felt that he needed to "save" Dubois for later in the game. I don't buy that, though, 'cause they probably won't get a scoring opportunity as silky sweet as that one was. ~Bill
  23. That a boy, Ricky! He didn't have very good command that inning, but he's still a pretty darned good pitcher. Nicely done. ~Bill
  24. Would you have put Neifi Perez in as a pinch-hitter instead of the other available options? ~Bill
