  1. http://www.fangraphs.com/...samples-become-reliable/ also google the transitive fallacy
  2. Let's bring up Farris and start the guy who is 0-infinity at 2nd. Great idea Ron. Man I am bitter about this Weeks injury. I don't think I have been in this pissy of mood for a while.
  3. How about we have the Axford we have had almost the entire season?
  4. Well he is a rookie so... You know Gamel struggled up here so...
  5. Kottaras bunting. The one bat on the bench with power. Makes sense.
  6. Casey has looked great tonight. Props where props are due.
  7. There is really no way to tell. They need an MRI and need to see how it responds.
  8. He's played more 3rd than 2nd, but he has played enough in the minors.
  9. Exactly. If Green isn't called up he has to be on that list. The guy has a +.900 OPS and can play 2nd and 3rd. Unless of course Weeks isn't seriously hurt.
  10. Yea he stretched for it and hit the front of the bag and turned it pretty badly.
  11. Yea he couldnt even put any weight on it. Did not look good at all.
  12. Well now we will truly see if Green is on that PTBNL list.
  13. Is it just me or does Greinke seem to have problems finishing off hitters? I feel like he gets guys in to 2 strike counts and then they foul off a ton of pitches and his pitch count gets up there because of this.
  14. He got called out on a ball that wasn't in the strike zone
  15. Exactly. I know that everyone is making this in to a huge deal, but I think people are falling in to the same trap that umps fall in to. Just because the ball beats the runner doesn't mean that the runner was tagged out. It's very close if you look at the replay from the 1st base side. The irony is that from the other side he looks out and this is the view that the Meals had. Even if they had replay, if you needed "conclusive evidence" as in the NFL, I don't know that I have seen it from the replays.
  16. Green has to be on that list. There is no other reason he is not up here. /thread
  17. Very nice to see Ron getting a hang of this bullpen thing. Great work to get out of that jam.
  18. So I am not familiar with the PBTNL stuff. Does that mean Green can't be called up and traded later?
  19. Why do they make sense and not question everything? From the looks of it, everyone here is a current or former bench coach in MLB and knows everything. Wait I want to hear about cricket.
