  1. Just a heads up, and you may have already tried this, but you can check with your season ticket rep and they might have vouchers available for sale. They typically do this for the theme nights, but not sure if they’re pulling from the same supply that is sold out, but might be worth a shot.
  2. And if he tried big leaguing his way out of the two he got, it makes me wonder how many times its actually worked and how many others he successfully talked/threatened/bribed his way out of.
  3. JS Online has something here: https://projects.jsonline.com/topics/coronavirus/tracking/covid-19-cases-testing-and-deaths-in-wisconsin.html Doesn't include hospitalizations, but include cases, deaths, and tests.
  4. How are the Braves the favorite at 9-2, yet the 4 teams below them have better odds?
  5. Was not sure what commercial you were talking about, so I had to Google it. It appears to be a take off of the movie "The Warriors". Then they dance at the end...which seems to be referencing Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video. Not a great commercial, but seems pretty harmless to me. if you guys are talking about this commercial, I agree it’s probably a safe bet that “our media” has no concerns about it glamorizing gang violence or would consider censoring it. The “gangs” in question are going around eating tacos and dance fighting, and one of them is on roller skates.
  6. MLB at bat iPad app has it for me but I do pay for mlb.tv so maybe it’s just for paid subscriptions.
  7. I think this was a good call and I’m glad this topic can be avoided going forward... ...but I’m watching the NL WC game right now and I see a familiar annoying orange jersey in the second row. Can we at least all agree to not sell a ticket to Marlins Man?
  8. Did you go to any of the games this past series, rickh150?
  9. So........ we're good. All is well with the Cubs/Miller Park situation? Season ticket holders, our best fans like Patrick, get their money. Cubs fans get the best seats in the ballpark, just what they want. The Brewers management get a full house, mucho dollars coming in. Man, what was I thinking? That is not at all what I said, and no I don't consider having opposing fans vastly outnumber Brewer fans for any game at Miller Park to be a "good situation". What I did say is that season seat holders selling tickets on the open market is only a small part of the problem, if anything, because season tickets only comprise a portion of the secondary market and there are other avenues that probably the majority of secondary market ticket get there. Because of this fundamental difference between the markets for Packers tickets versus Brewers tickets, your analogy between the two is not valid. I think the real issue is that Brewer fans don't turn out in high enough numbers for Cubs games, regardless of whether it's season seat holders getting rid of their tickets, or other Brewer fans not buying tickets. I'm sure there are several reasons for this, and a big one is probably not wanting to deal with obnoxious Cubs fans, especially in periods like we're in currently, with their team up and ours down. To put any more blame on season seat holders than fans in general, who still have plenty of opportunity to get Brewers/Cubs tickets through other means, in misplaced in my opinion. Also, just to be clear, I'm not implying that any Brewers fans, season seat holders or not, are in any way obligated to "do their part" to keep Cubs fans out of Miller Park (although I definitely think it's very cool when Brewer fans chose to). I'm only saying if doing that were an obligation of being a fan, it would be a shared responsibility between all fans, not something especially for season seat holders.
  10. Comparing Packers season tickets to Brewers season tickets is absolutely not the same thing because the vast majority (100%?) of the seats in Lambeau are season tickets, versus Miller Park where it is only some fraction. Buying tickets on the secondary market is more or less the only option for Bears fans to get into Lambeau, whereas Miller Park tickets (minus maybe opening day) are available to non season seat holders via the Brewers ticket office, and there are no controls in place to limit to them to Wisconsin residents or Brewer fans only. This was brought up by Outlander several posts ago, and is spot on. If the season seat holders didn't buy the Cubs tickets, they'd just go to motivated Cubs fans via the primary market. At best season seat holders selling their tickets on StubHub results in Cubs fans being able to improve seat locations, but I don't think it can be blamed for getting them in the door. I would also hope anyone implying that season seat holders have some obligation to prevent Cubs fans from buying their seats, by selling them for less or giving them to Brewer fans, are also doing their own part by buying and attending all of the Cubs games themselves to help keep Northsiders out of Miller Park.
  11. I'm not normally a bobble head fan but I'm in for a Storm Trooper Gorman. That one looks sweet and it's nice that it's an old school Brewer this year.
  12. .200 would be by far the worst winning percentage for a team in the modern era. Do you seriously think the 2015 Brewers are the worst baseball team of all time?
  13. My 20 game pack was $660 per seat ($33/game). Not sure if that reflects any kind of renewing seat holder discount or not.
  14. Planning a trip to PNC park for the Brewers series in June. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel within walking distance of the park? Not looking for anything fancy, hoping for something reasonably priced. Probably looking for 5 or 6 rooms, maybe more. Not sure if that would qualify for any kind of group discount, but if anyone has any advice in that respect I'd be interested in hearing that too.
  15. Why don't you just say for $150 plus shipping you'll send out the complete set of bobbles at the end of the season?
  16. But they're in Milwaukee, right? Not Arizona?
  17. I see 2 games on the schedule on the Brewers website against the White Sox 3/29 & 3/30, does anyone know what these are? I don't see a link to buy tickets, any idea what they'd cost or how you'd get them?
  18. Sour power?
  19. My full season invoice came out to $15 a game for general across the 11 potential games. Not sure if that implies a consistent price for all 3 possible rounds or if the price increases as the rounds progress. Also not sure if it may have been different for the partial plans.
  20. I've been in a "regular" fantasy baseball league for years, run through Yahoo, and we're thinking of starting up a keeper league instead. I think most keeper leagues are auction style, which is what we'd like to do. Any suggestions of websites to manage a keeper league, with auction values, escalating salaries, etc? We'd probably prefer a free one if its out there, but would be willing to do a pay site if its worth it.
  21. I've got 4 available in row 12 of 424 for Friday's game. I'd be looking for $14/ea ($56 total) for these season tickets. I think you'd pay $20 through the box office since this is a marquee game. If anyone is interested PM or post here. If there is interest I'd like to meet up during the day tomorrow in Tosa, or possibly tonight in the Falls.
  22. I'd be in for at least 1 ball, maybe another.
