All totally possible, just expected more, especially considering that the social media/game day experience guys like Vassallo are big fans. Of course, once it became Bob Uecker Day, that should take precedence.

Hey there, Are you interested in getting one of the WWE Uecker bobbleheads? My fiance is letting me do whatever I see fit with her's. I'd be interested in trading one-for-one if you happened to get one of the talking Ueckers from today? If you were hoping for just the experience - gotta say it was a major let down! Didn't notice anything WWE themed other than some fans wearing wrestling t-shirts - thought for sure it'd be more like Star Wars night where they use some of the theme music and images during the game - but didn't notice any of that going on.

Hi all, Moved down to Phoenix awhile ago and have an extra David Peralta freight train bobblehead from Saturday's Dbacks game. I gave up trying to keep up with Brewers bobbles at the end of 2017, so I'd love to trade this one for any of the Brewers player bobbles from 2018 or so far in 2019, I do already have a Mayor DDC. Maybe no interest but if there is and you have a Thames, Cain, Aguilar, or Jeffress available, let me know!

Totally true. I think I am being influenced by the public. Had to be one of the most common things I overheard while in my seats. I always recommend visitors come down the first week of games, and do weekdays if you have the vacation time to spare. Unfortunately, that first week was a little rainy this year.

Made it to some games and have a few minor gripes that I wish the remodel would have further addressed. - No cupholders?! - I wish they would have made it possible to get around the outside of the stadium from all angles. I got parked outside of centerfield for one game but was meeting someone near the main gates, Google maps says that was about 3/4 of a mile to hike around. - The security lines seemed quite long for a few of the games I made it to. They did move relatively fast though. - Heard many people complaining about getting let into the parking lot only to be guided out the end and told to find a street to park on. Since there's only one entrance it shouldn't be that hard for them to keep a rough tally and not overload the lot. - I'm surprised they agreed to stay in Maryvale. All that said, the place looks great once you get inside. My favorite ballparks are Salt River Fields (if you can get tickets at a reasonable price) and Surprise. Have not been to Camelback, Scottsdale, Sloan, or Tempe Diablo.

Yep, it was news to me as well. Go figure, years of baseball and now years of softball, one fluke play and there you have it. Not my proudest moment on the field. Ultrasound Tech asked if I'd like to take a look at the results, took a pass as I imagined it would only make the pain worse. Got back on the field a few weeks ago, and highly suggested to any teammates who thought they were slick with the glove like I did to invest in a little protection. Not worth the risk, I'll tell ya that much.

ESPN is saying no one has ever successfully appealed a positive test. Before they were saying no one has successfully appealed the 50-game suspension from a positive test. I think that second part is a no brainer. Which one is it. If you're at the point of suspension you've already had your chance at an appeal, failed, and MLB suspends you. And obviously no one has successfully appealed the suspension, given there's only been a couple of handfuls of them between the majors and minors. You'd have to think the first part is wrong... there's had to have been positive tests that have been appealed successfully and like others have said we just don't hear about them. I hope. End result so far for me is that my distaste for ESPN continues to grow. It's been bad for years, but atleast I can see some highlights from games I normally wouldn't be able to. Tonight has just been rough though. It just seems like they aren't doing enough of a job to emphasize that it's still in the appeal process. I know we're mostly biased in the situation but it feels like I'm watching a smear campaign against the guy. Oh well. I'm in the camp that is indifferent to the PED situation as I can understand why people in their positions would want to use them. Still, it would be nice to have a player of Ryan's caliber that can play it clean. Like everyone else, interested to see the full fallout from this.

FYI, just bought two clubhouse version Division Champs hoodies from Boston Store's website @ $23.99 a piece plus $5.00 for shipping and then tax. Probably a little cheaper than what they'll be at the clubhouse sale (got an '08 Wild Card one at the sale for $25.00 or $30.00?) plus you don't have to wait another month to get them...

Yeah from clicking around a few other places he is getting the business right now. Didn't bring it up to compound on that, just bringing up that sometimes the right balance is found for something like this and as of right now, with the one wild card team in each league, MLB really has a pretty good thing going and for my money is the best postseason in pro sports (thinking of NBA and NHL, hard to compare to the NFL with the difference in series vs. one and done). -

Worth pointing out that the games tonight wouldn't have mattered if there were two wild card spots. I know I'd rather have game 162 be the deciding factor if need be rather than watching short series of Rays/Sox and Cards/Braves. Win your games in the regular season/September. A second wild card spot would have allowed two ice cold teams into the playoffs and given them a chance at a championship when they did nothing to earn the right to play for one after coughing up huge leads within a matter of a couple of weeks. -
