Yes, there is definetly a lot of room for debate on whether or not Bill Hall can ever reach an all-star game. But talk to your average Joe six-pack, who likes his cars fast and his Sportscenter loud, Bill Hall is the best thing to happen to the Brewers since they started serving beer at baseball games. I was just venting about the individuals that consider themselves Brewers experts, but watch more hours of Sportscenter during baseball season then Brewers games. It is annoying to me, since they know I'm a Brewers fan and try to talk to me about Hall, then disregard my opinions when I don't subscribe to the Bill Hall=MVP candidate theory.

I did not say no Hall love. I definetly love and respect Hall as a player and off the field influence. I just think he is overated by the general public. I hope he dominates this year and the love keeps pouring on him.

I'm glad there is a vent thread because I wouldn't bring this up otherwise. I'm tired of the Bill Hall lovefest. I like Bill Hall as a player, but I perceive that there is way to much love out their for him from the fan who thinks they know a lot about the Brewers because they watch the web gems and occasionly look at Box scores. Bill Hall is a solid player with potential (MVP potential? come on Yost). Last year he hit more homeruns, had some memorable homeruns (pink bat=classic), and did well in the qualatative Web Gem category. I really like Bill Hall, but I can not stand talking about him with with the Sportscenter fan who thinks they know everything, but only watches 5 Brewer games all year.
