  1. you didn't think the Brewers could just attain 1st place and coast the rest of the way with no pressure, did you? that is not the life of a Brewer fan.
  2. you guys have to just laugh at this point! let's try again tomorrow. not the end of the world. there's a lot of season left.
  3. bad mojo. you can think it but don't say it.
  4. it's so sad that it's just a foregone conclusion that we will lose this game because we can't score more than 1 run today
  5. If we lose this game, I will have to take a break from sports talk radio until the Brewers win again. I won't be able to handle the panic and negativity.
  6. Wow, they are dropping like flies. Maybe if every starter from the Reds, Cards, and Pirates gets injured... the Brewers can win the division.
  7. Jean maybe should've held on to that money.
  8. The fact that Khris Davis looked horrible earlier this year and has turned it around gives me some hope... but it's hard to watch right now. He just isn't changing his approach and just keeps doing the same thing over and over again.
  9. 2012 was just as good as 2011 and he was probably watched like a hawk testing-wise after what went down in 2011... so I would think he's been clean ever since 2012 started. Does that sound logical? I would be surprised to find out he kept using something after 2011. Because of this, I am still hopeful he someday heals up and produced like he used to. I didn't like that second extension on his contract even when he was a top 5 player in the league... and I obviously like it even less now. It was just completely unnecessary at the time... we got such a great deal with the first extension, why not just leave well-enough alone.
  10. Ok, I wasn't going to say anything the first time, but really? Why? I'm secure enough to look at a guy and not give it a second thought. He's not a fat guy, he's a thick guy. It wasn't full nudity, and it was hardly something you don't see regularly unless you're not very engaged in social media, TV or well....the outside world. It's a picture of a guy covered up. I'm just not sure why you'd be so traumatized by it that you'd comment twice. And I don't believe this has anything to do with his violent swings. I believe this is a fairly common genetic issue that many people have doesn't become symptomatic until later on, or in many cases ever. That is if I understand it correctly. But he's hardly the only guy who swings the bat hard. Hell, my aunt had the same surgery and she was 50 and never played a sport in her life and I have a similar issue and have played sports my entire life and have never experienced any issues with it. I'm just messing around. I just personally find tattoos hideous. Otherwise I would love looking at Prince Fielder nude.
  11. Agreed 100%. I was drinking the Mark "Raw Power" Reynolds kool-aid for awhile, but his shine has faded in the past month. I like him fine as an occasional 1B/3B back-up but it sure would be nice to get a .750+ OPS guy in there at 1B everyday. And for Segura to stop being horrible offensively.
  12. After watching his violent swing for years, it doesn't surprise me that he has spinal issues. I wish I wouldn't have looked at his magazine cover. That was a mistake.
  13. Yeah, I think he's worth a lot more to the Brewers as a back-up catcher than he would fetch in a trade - so I think you hold onto him.
  14. The Logan Schafer baserunning mistake and then Gomez getting picked off at 2nd were 2 of the stupider mistakes I've seen by the Brewers this year.
  15. What really grinds my gears about Gomez this year is that anytime he makes a mistake, he basically has said "that's just who I am" or something to that affect. I realize he's a very good player - but I don't like that attitude - he should be wanting to get better all the time. I see him as thinking "I'm good enough the way I am"
  16. Lucroy walks on four pitches, Gomez swings at the first (bad) pitch. Misses it, swings at another low pitch.
  17. I have one very dirty smelly old green wood seats. I need to spray it with Lysol before I display it. I've had it in storage for awhile now.
  18. Too bad about Lucroy. At least he is the back-up. Didn't expect Braun to make it, especially once it went to player-vote. Nice to see 4 representatives!
  19. Schafer reminds me of Gomez 2-3 years ago in a lot of ways. He's so fast and great at playing anywhere in the OF... if he could just get on base a little more he would be a starting-level player. I hope he figures it out before he leaves the Brewers.
  20. wow. we really needed that one. Garza has been looking good for awhile now.
