  1. Holy man, that ignore feature really does work... Ahhhh, relief.
  2. FSN is not broadcasting this game? Repeat of a Bucks game instead? ridiculous...
  3. There is nothing more to be said here, I am taking my ball and going home.
  4. It's not losing that bothers me at all, because I'm used to it. I was a fan in the 90's. It's when losing is predictable when I have major issues and when it keeps repeating, because management simply says "we wont change our game plan or adjust, because it's just the way we are" type excuses. Brewers managers say it way to often and it's false. Against good teams you HAVE to make adjustments. I posted the way I did in this game thread from the very get go because I already knew the out come of the game and exactly why it would happen. Just like I did in yesterdays game. I'll know by the second inning of tomorrow's game what the outcome will be or if they have a chance, so stay tuned. So in today's game, you will be able to predict the final outcome/score of the game, beyond a shadow of a doubt? You are also a magician and a fortune teller, cool. It isn't so much what you say that annoys everyone, it is how you say it... Stating all your opinions as facts is a turn off. I'm not going to let a blow-hard egotistical know-it-all scare me away from the forum, but your presence will definitely hinder future posts. Posters like you take the fun out of it. Contrary to your beliefs, you do not know nearly as much as you think.
  5. If you like weak popouts that would be a good move. weak pop-out vs strike out... well, at least when Weeks strikes out, he is using more pitches......possibly.........or not.
  6. It's nothing personal Dead Simmons... We have been owned for so long, the frustration of being beaten by your boys does weird things to us...
  7. Mysteriously, there are 3 of them that have been listed on ebay, only to have the seller pull the listing... If every season ticket holder only gets one, there may be a lot of these that don't go up for sale because the ticket holder actually wants to keep it...
  8. I own Miller on one team too. I bit the bullet last night and started Lynn, that paid off, but at the expense of my Brewers...lol I started Miller tonight, and expect to get a -10 points....Brewers over fantasy though, so I'll take it!!!
  9. I guess I am just fickle then. Suddenly useless? No, I think his uselessness has been building for quite some time...
  10. Too many people are expecting Gennett to fail. We know what Rickie brings to the table these days, and Gennett is unproven, one way or the other. I get tired of all the "experts" on this board expecting Scooter to flop. So far, though last year and this, he has outplayed Weeks in every aspect of the game. If we have to play Weeks for any extended period of time, that is a bad sign for the Brewers. He has no value to this team, none. He is wasting a roster spot at this point. I find it hard to believe that his vesting option has anything to do with his playing time. Could it be that Scooter is kicking his butt, and he is on the bench because he deserves to be on the bench? If Weeks had tore it up in spring training, do you really believe he would not be starting every day? I don't. He was outplayed, has been outplayed for quite some time now, and that is why he isn't playing.
  11. sadly, simple etiquette, common courtesy and manners are disappearing in all walks of life, not just at ballgames...
  12. I am nervous for this game, felt that way all day... I hope we make a statement tonight!
  13. One sold on ebay for less than $54.99. It was at $54.99, and the seller took a best offer below that... I can't believe the buyer had the guts to send an offer, I would have been afraid someone would take it while I waited for the seller to accept. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jean-Segura-Limited-Edition-Allstar-BobbleHead-RARE-Milwaukee-Brewers-/181381386771?pt=US_Baseball_Fan_Shop&hash=item2a3b2c5213 Well, so it begins... Maybe, just maybe they won't sell for as much as some of us are thinking... ANother one is listed for $199.99...
  14. I have a problem. I have Lance Lynn and Shelby Miller on a fantasy team. I hate starting pitchers against the Brewers, but in this case, it might actually be smart to bench them both because the Brewers are hot, not because of the mixed feelings I have against starting pitchers against my favorite team...
  15. Then why doesn't RRR do something about it? It's the same crap year after year with this guy.
  16. I was even more shocked that he came out for the 9th inning...
  17. My guess is the guy willing to pay $175 was a collector, not a seller... He was only looking for one, so it only makes sense if it was to go into his collection, not ebay or craigslist. There has been no market set on this bobble yet, so paying $175 and thinking you could flip it for a profit would not be very smart.
  18. Did he run through a stop sign? Nope, Sedar was waiving him in the entire time.
  19. Maybe if Sedar had a clue, Gomez could have a clue also... Sedar is just horrible at coaching 3rd base, yet he continues to have a job. RRR must really love that reckless abandonment that Sedar gives the team. PS. laugh out loud at the bolded part of that post above, good stuff...
  20. It will surely be interesting to see what these end up going for on ebay. There was a guy at the end of the line the other night offering $175 to the people picking their bobbles up, and as far as my friend knows, no one sold him one... You can bet that next year, if they do this again, people will be buying their season ticket packages on separate accounts so they can get one bobble per seat. That is what the guy did that I got mine from. He and his girlfriend both bought one ticket, allowing them both to get the bobble. It seems ridiculous that the Brewers only gave out one bobble to each account. If you have 4 rickets, you still only got one bobble. It really should have been one per seat. If you bought your tickets on separate accounts, you got one per seat.
