  1. 2 more sold on ebay today. One for $86 plus $10 shipping, the other for $101 plus $10 shipping...
  2. They learned their lesson last year, when some games they had over 10,000 bobbles that went unclaimed. This year, they were unable to judge the popularity of Gomez, and they screwed up. Whatever department that is in charge of choosing which bobbles to get made, when to have retros, when to announce if there will be retros, and how many to order should be fired! The team was bad last year, and the bobbles they chose to give out were just not very popular. It is almost like they do not have their finger on the pulse of the fans, but instead, just flip a coin to figure out what to give out.
  3. No Braun and no Segura vs. the Cards = DOOM! This could be an absolute brutal series coming up, and of course it has to be the freaking Cardinals.
  4. I'm also a non-packer fan living among packer fans. I have never heard a packer fan my entire life wanting to lose, for any reason. Packer fans are some of the most fanatical fans in the world, for any sport. I think maybe you are mistaken, or just trying to make a point.
  5. A friend of mine was at the team store yesterday. He is a season ticket holder, and gets 20% off. For $60, I was going to have him pick one up for me, when he got to the counter, they told him he could not use his 20% off on the Bobbles of the month. So, I told him to put mine back on the shelf. $80 is a deal breaker for me. The investment of the complete set is just too much. Not to mention, they will probably continue next year.

  7. It will all depend on how many keep coming up for sale, and how many were made... There are a LOT of Brewers collectors out there, most are going to want one, so the demand could stick around a while. The price might go up in a few years, especially if he has a good career. Then again, if there are 5000 of them, they can probably always be had for around the price of the retro/alternate versions of the regular bobbles. I just wish I hadn't gotten an extra one. Odds are I never get back what I put into it, but that is the bobble game these days...
  8. Last one just sold for $88 plus shipping...
  9. I have to admit, I am not very enthused to get the players that have nothing to do with the Brewers. Cabrera, Choo, Felix, Ortiz, Jones, and especially lawrie since they already did one of him when he was a Brewer, just don't do it for me. Why on earth did they not do Thornburg or Peralta? For that matter, why did the Brewers ignore Peralta this year? You can pencil him in for next year as an automatic, maybe for both the T-Rats and Brewers...
  10. One just sold for $103.50 plus shipping... Seems to be hanging around that $100 mark for now...
  11. Bonifacio would be great, more than great with his versatility... I would trade Fiers or Burgos for him in a heartbeat! I'd like to pick up a player that also has 1B experience, who can play other positions as well. As it is now, as much as I liked Weeks, he just plain needs to go. He offers us nothing, absolutely nothing, nada, zilch.
  12. A poster on the yuku bobble board got the information at the team store I believe. There is a thread over there about the "bobbles of the month" and that is where that info was posted.
  13. I'm with you. It is an empty feeling, kind like something is missing... It's amazing how fast you get back into the rhythm of a season, and any off day throws off that rhythm.
  14. The last one, with all 5 racing sausages on one base is set to retail at $200... That would be almost $700 for the complete set. I think I am out on this after all...
  15. $79.99...............plus tax.
  16. This thread has jinx written all over it...
  17. Scooter had a rap song, "Amazing" I think when he played in Appleton... What does he have now?
  18. Agreed, which is why I'd rather trade for them, but then again, I am still not convinced that I even want to get into them at all since 1.) they are not SGA and 2.) they are Forever Collectible. The only reason I am considering them are because they look so damn cool. They are also huge, 10" tall. As far as the Braun Maryville, no big deal... I'm open to a trade if you are, if not, I'll live...
  19. Does RRR view Lucroy as a genuine base stealing threat? It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on...
  20. I have a lot of extras of various Brewer stuff. Willing to trade multiples for the April Brat if you see anything that interests you. viewtopic.php?f=68&t=29000&p=818048#p818048 PM me if interested.
  21. Nice job...Someone did not do their homework.
  22. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be getting this set, and you can be sure this will continue past this season as well. I will stick with SGA for now, unless I change my mind...lol At $59.99, I would have thrown my hat in the ring, but I bet those multiple ones in the future are going to go for $100 retail. EDIT: Heard through the grapevine the final one with the 4 sausages on one base will retail for $200.
  23. Holy crap, I just called the Brewers team store. They still have a lot of them in stock. They are selling the bobbles for $79.99 plus $20 shipping... (maybe that is why they still have so many in stock) $100 for a retail bobble (assuming you need it shipped), then on top of that, one per month until October? I bet some of the others will be more than $79.99 judging by the silhouettes. (multiple bobbles on one base) Wow.
