  1. Greinke is done for the night... With 87 pitches, It would have been nice to see him go 8 for his last outing in a Brewer uniform. It's been a long time since a Brewer starter went 8 innings or more.
  2. They are just teeing off on Lee tonight! How the mighty have fallen... I desperately want to resign Greinke.
  3. My only concern is if we lose too many orders, the bobble won't happen. With only 144 of them, this is too good of an opportunity to ruin... It is still going to be a great bobblehead!!
  4. He's on a mission to get out of here it appears... That HR was just icing on the cake when added to his defense and pitching performance tonight.
  5. It looks like this is what it is going to be... Sorry if some aren't pleased, but it is still a great way to pay tribute to the Brewers 1st MVP since Yount. I think it will display nicely next to the ROY bobble. If anyone else wants in, put your name in this thread. If anyone else decides they don't want one who already committed in this thread, please PM me so we don't clog this thread with negative comments. I will remove your name from the commit list. Honestly, this is our only chance for an MVP Braun bobble. Thanks everyone!
  6. I truly hate the thought of losing Greinke. It's a sucky part of this game and fandom...

  8. If Greinke gets shelled tonight, will this board explode?
  9. My guess is that everyone on this team that is not involved in the bullpen can't stand to play on this team any longer. Can you imagine the frustration day in and day out and there is nothing you can do about it? It's so sad that it is becoming funny.
  10. It's like a bad dream that never ends. K-Rod has probably been dreaming of closing since he got here last year, and given the opportunity, he just plain blows it! He is horrible.
  11. It is amazing how many times we have seen this nonsense this season... It's like they are playing a re-run over and over and over again. PS I bet "Maldy" doesn't let that one get by for the run.
  12. In the Rangers desperation for a front end starter for their play-off run, is it possible we still might end up with their "untouchable" ss? What a way to raise our spirits by putting Profar into our system...
  13. A Savatage reference? LOVE IT!
  14. Artwork is in the next post. There wil be no facial hair, and the jersey will be navy blue like the picture. I think it looks pretty sharp myself!!!!!!
  15. Veras mentioned earlier too. K-Rod Axford as well. I just don't think that there is anyone in our bullpen that could bring us anything in value... They have not performed well enough for us to think a team with a shot at the playoffs would want any of them for the stretch run.
  16. So, we all want our bullpen guys gone, why, because they have sucked hard and bad all season. What on earth makes anyone think that other teams would want our crap? Seriously, the guys being mentioned here are partly to blame for our demise, you don't think other GMs can't smell a crap sandwich when it is waved under thier noses?
  17. There are 1000 Hart bobbles. 2000 of the other 2... Hart is going to be the toughest of the 3 for sure.
  18. With all that Paul is suggesting, I think you can expect to take a pretty big hit in ticket sales... That is the problem with tearing this thing down and rebuilding. The average can't appreciate young, unknown talent. Not that I don't agree with what is proposed, just don't think it will happen with the current administration calling the shots.
  19. Why? It is not like Hanley would just be a rental you would be getting Hanley for the next two years and he could easily be put back at the SS position. For a total of about $33m dollars for 2013 and 2014 that is not a bad deal. The Brewers would have to think about extending Hanley after his current contract is done and if they could lock Hanley down for about $17-19m a year that would be a nice punch in the lineup with Braun and Hanley for the next 5-8 years. So, are you willing to gut the farm system again, AND pay him that kind of dough? I would have to pass.
  20. So after playing OF for most of a decade and a whopping 40 odd games at 1b he can't play OF now? Seems your complaints about IsHikawa and RR get further stretched all the time. Further stretched? Please... The guy is a below average outfielder to begin with, he has been playing 1B on a regular basis, and doing a damn good job of it. Now we throw him out in the OF every so often so Ishikawa can get playing time? Not saying he can't play OF any longer, though his skills there have greatly diminished, along with his speed. Just don't like the idea of it. As far as RR goes, the guy couldn't manage himself out of a wet paper bag much less the Milwaukee Brewers. He is a horrible manager, and I am entitled to my opinion.
