C'mon Taylor, SPOIL IT! -
How many times this season have we been no-hit up until or later than the 5th inning?
-
Ishikawa IS a waste of a roster spot, he never should have been signed to begin with, he is WW fodder for a reason...
-
Oh really? Estrada always does this. Looks awesome for a few innings and then gives up the longball. That's why I (and others) think he's best served out of the bullpen. I should have posted in blue, I figured everyone could feel my sarcasm.
-
That's ridiculous in my eyes. Ishikawa has a career OPS of .740 or so and over .800 this year Maysonet can't match that for a bat off the bench, he's barely better than Izturis. Not talking about "Ishi", my biggest beef is with "Izzy" being on this roster. Everyone could feel the magic about to end this inning except for one person...
-
We don't need to resign Greinke, our new ace is on the bump tonight!
-
Pick one... I'd much rather, without a doubt, 100% surely, rather have Massonet than "Izzy."
-
The fact that RR will now have to find a way to get "Ishi" playing time ruffles my feathers... I know, it's one game, but you can expect to see him at strange times from here on out. The guy is a waste of roster space. Same thing with "Izzy". "Massy" was twice the player, and he is gone... *scratching head*
-
If those are models, he did a horrible job of finding attractive ones... Those women are not good lookin'...
-
Now that the no-hitter is done, how many innings can he go tonight? 5 tops? Assuming he gets through the 4th?
-
Is someone here selling the bobblehead checklist?
TURBO replied to BrewersSuperCollector's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Just another example of people making money on ebay that others didn't think of first. I swear, you can sell just about anything there. As long as there are people willing to shell out cash for whatever, there will be people willing to sell it to them. The real question is, how many have been sold, that would be interesting. According to the description, the list includes a lot more than what the list here includes...So I would guess it is quite different. I'm sure the basic Brewer SGA part is the same though. -
Brooks Conrad DFA'd [Reply #26: Rays join in, DFA him too]
TURBO replied to Funketown's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Did prety well tonight too: Brooks Conrad - 1B - Rays Brooks Conrad drove in four runs with a pair of doubles as the Rays beat the Phillies 7-3 on Sunday to complete a doubleheader sweep. It was Conrad's first multihit game since July 31. The Rays won tonight despite limiting themselves to relievers in the contest. Cesar Ramos started and pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings. Wade Davis was the only pitcher to struggle, and after he left, Brandon Gomes and J.P. Howell combined to throw 3 2/3 scoreless innings. -

Does any team in MLB have a worse bullpen than we do? If so, can you imagine following a team that is worse? This is pure hell.
-
Half srikeouts? I guess Green can't play 3B, or any other position for that matter... He hasn't started a game in the past 6 outings, and while we are playing american league teams, you'd think he could find a start here or there... Did I miss something, is he still with the team?
-
I do like what RR is doing with the roaming DH, giving guys like Braun and Ramirez days off from the field... Since I finally found a way to give him props, thought I should type it in.

T-Rats Fan's choice Bobble is announced : Drumroll please...
TURBO replied to TURBO's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I think I read he had a blood clot, not sure where. -
I've got one, and can post a pic when I get on my pc. Will post a photo later. EDIT: Sold the extra Morris bobble

Is Veras responsible for this mess? Stepped away for 5 minutes and now this? not surprising...

Bill is a company man, who ever pays the bills, he is kissing their behind...

MVP! MVP!! MVP!!!

^this I am finding myself growing more and more irritated with his hot dog antics too. Making that catch tonight, then turning around as fast as he could and side arming the ball back to the infield with no one on base just looks stupid. (Odds are, he didn't know the bases were clear ) All his antics on the basepaths are wearing on me too. If he was even an average hitter, I could see past this stuff, but he is a horrible hitter and base runner. Defense is the only thing keeping this guy on a MLB roster. He should only be entering games as a pinch runner (for speed purposes, not because he is a good base runner) or a late inning defensive replacement in my opinion.
-
I sure hope we get the GOOD "Wolfie" today, and not the one that is painful to watch... The last two times he has pitched, I have had it on in the background but didn't pay a lot of attention to it on purpose. Just hate to watch his games. I think I will stick with that plan.
-
What really stinks is that Ishikawa is now back on the team. I want nothing to do with this guy, while he was gone, we got to see what Hart could do at 1B, and now that "Ishi" is back, you can bet he will vulture his share of starts so RR can get him playing time. I just hate how this team is ran day in and day out... Izturis and Ishikawa add nothing to this team, yet here they are again. We didn't even notice they were gone, yet here they are again. Stupid, just stupid.
-
They have been popping up like crazy lately... 100 my rear end! I bet there are 200 of them out there, maybe more.
