Sure do love getting "Thorny" some runs here. A win in his first start would surely be a great thing for him psychologically. I'd say we need at lest a 5 run cushion though, because once we get to our bullpen, all bets are off.

Sadly, that is the way the ball rolls with our mgr. Gomez should never, EVER see the 2 hole again, it sickens me.

I only wish Scooter could play SS... Gonzalez, being 36 years old, should only be looked at as a back-up SS in the future... If we are banking on that type of player to be our everyday SS, we are in for some hard times at that position once again. No way he can ever get another 4 million dollar contract at 37 years old, not to mention, coming back from major surgery at that age isn't a given.
