  1. Fixed your link for you!! This is one of the weird injury's of the season for sure lol!! http://sports.yahoo.com/m...le-steppi?urn=mlb,242336
  2. Wow that is scary for sure!! Good to hear the family and everything is all OK!! Makes me wonder even if you have your collection and other valuables insured and you had a fire in your house would you try and grab something if you could or would you just run out of the house empty handed!! Depending which room I was in and how bad the fire was I would try and grab one thing at least!! From my bedroom it would be a hand drawn picture a friend made for me of actress Jennifer Love Hewitt. If I am in my basement my Bill Hall Track suit bobble!! Even over everything else Brewers I have it is one of my most favorite items. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/lovehewittcom/th_Myframe.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/bobbleheads/Brewers%20Retail-Employee/th_BillHallFront.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/bobbleheads/Brewers%20Retail-Employee/th_BillHallSide.jpg
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I will have to go down and get some more Badger autographs. I could snap your photo again hawing!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  4. It sure is a neat photo makes me miss County Stadium so much. Just hope the game is as cool too.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif To young to remember these type of cars being at County Stadium but I went to a few games with my family in my Dad's white 1987 Dodge Aries Wagon!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif http://images03.olx.com.pe/ui/1/04/69/12559569_1.jpg
  5. Just won a eBay auction from Mears today of four sealed County Stadium SGA board games for a outrageous price of $5 plus shipping. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif One is going to be a birthday present for a friend but I have no idea what to do with the other three?? I don't even know what one of these games is even worth?? http://cgi.ebay.com/Milwa...&hash=item3cac839cc0 http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/mearsauctions/helmets_034.jpeg
  6. I posted a Hi-Res of the photo in my reply from above unless you are wanting it some other way Matt?? http://images.townnews.co.../13/sports/nh1425697.jpg
  7. Awesome looking job and photo BHF they did a great job on the frame. Wonder if College library here at UW Madison would allow me to print this out with their poster printer?? Full Hi-Res photo thanks to townnews.com!! http://images.townnews.co.../13/sports/nh1425697.jpg
  8. I was at a game I think it may have been the Damien Miller Wednesday walk off home run in extra innings!! It rained during BP very quickly and they had to put the tarp out because the roof was open not sure about thunder though. It was really odd to see the tarp out. Was luckily in concourse when it started raining and just watched it pour outside!!
  9. Would also agree on getting to Miller Park early and walking around the grounds and definitely taking in the tailgate in the parking lot. Cool things to see around the park are the statues and plaques we have on the walk of fame. Also going to Helfaer Field (What used to be the spot of Home Plate at County Stadium) and look at the 1957 WS tribute for the Braves is good too. Another one to ask around were it is at because I am not to sure but the plaque for were Hank Arron's 755th home run landed. You will be surprised that it is in the middle of the parking lot and a cars will most likely be right around it!! Had a friend come to Milwaukee last year for the first time from NJ who came for a Philly's game he just absolutely couldn't believe the tailgating we do and the whole parking lot atmosphere!! I know since it is a bobblehead game me and my friend will be their not sure if I will have others but I will try and tailgate I rarely go to a game and not tailgate. If you do walk around and can make it to the huge general parking lot over the bridge across the highway look for this giant blue Milwaukee flag next to a blue Honda Element I would be glad to treat you to a tailgate experience!! The flag is 5ft by 8ft and is hanging on a 20ft pole you can't miss it!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Click To Enlarge http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/th_StLouisOldBushStadiumFlag2.jpg
  10. Just saw that the Madison Mallards are going to have Robin Yount headline their annual MLB Alumni game in August. They say he will sign autograph's before the game but unlike in years past with the headliner playing in the game along with other MLB alumni Yount will not play. I have been to this game twice so far for Fingers and then last year for Molitor. Both were very well organized with decent Lines and last year Molitor signed for a good 2 hours before the game and then signed some more after the game as well!! It is pretty funny to see all the other MLB Alumni with very little to no line and the Brewers like Molitor and Fingers have a line a far as the eye can see for the signing. http://www.mallardsbaseba...umni-game-in-august.html http://www.mallardsbaseball.com/images/stories/site_images/news/Maynard/2010-alumni-game.jpg
  11. This year me and my friends who always use Canal St. to get to the general parking lot will be getting in line around 7AM - 8AM sometime we have had no problem with getting in the general lot with our pre purchased passes!! Last year we were stopped in the line for about 3 minutes before they started to open the lot and cars started to move!! I am not to sure what time they have opened it in the past because I have been to excited but I will remember to check my clock as we go in!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  12. I just looked at mine and took it off my bookshelf I can confirm I have the version with the beer suds/foam but mine did not come with the Allstar strap around the box I have seen that strap on boxes before though!! The number of mine is #3,937 out of 10,000 I got mine maybe about two years ago off eBay somewhere in the $20 -$25 range if I remember correctly!! There are two on eBay right now both without the suds/foam The #'s on these are 4,915 & 5,391
  13. I must say for the 5 and a half games I went to at the Dome 4 1/2 Brewer games and one Badger Football game I must admit the dome dog was not that bad and I had it maybe three times!! I wouldn't go out of my way to get one or try and duplicate it and nor would I be upset if I went to a game and did not get one as I did do!! Nothing that I can remeber about it made it all that special!! For one game I snuck in a bottle of secret stadium sauce and to Brewer fans at the game I seemed like god!! That bottle was brand new and was empty before the 4th inning even started!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  14. I have had a really large version photo of this as my wallpaper for some time now!! found it through Google search thanks to the news-herald.com website http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Click To Enlarge http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/4716/nh1425697.th.jpg
  15. Would you by chance be having a street team walking through the general lot on opening day selling shirts?? I know you did it two years ago because my self and a few friends bought some shirts and I am sure you could find more drunk people this year to make shirt purchase like my friends did. That Coffey shirt is awesome!!
  16. Yes I got my opening day tickets got seats together in Terrace Box and then also got tickets to the first three bobbleheads and the 70's and 80's retro pennant giveaway games Plus a Cubs game in September. helps though when you camp out at the Arctic Tailgate for almost four days!! The free swag and pizza from the Brewers is nice as well!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. zachlaka is probably there already. Yep I was there already!! According to the Brewers you are allowed to camp out starting at midnight on Wednesday of the week single game tickets go on sale. So this year it was the 24th. I got there along with two other groups at midnight!! I was the second tent in line. It was great being there for so long but I could have done without Wednesday with the snow and Wednesday night with the heavy wind!! It is hard for one person to hold down a eight person tent by himself lol. Got my Arctic Tailgate shirt and my coupon for free soda and hot dog. Gorman Thomas and Jerry Augustine were the former brewers they had greeting us in the front of the line. Jerry handed out some bobble heads from last year and some of the mini '82 bobbles from '07. Don't think any of thm were retros though. I picked up a Suppan since I didn't go to the game!! Nice to get him for free!! Bernie and the Sausages walked through the line and tossed out some 2009 Tidal Wave Section Towels that they would pass out when you got splashed sitting underneath Bernie's slide. Got six of them in one throw from Bernie and have no idea what to do with them!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif As for tickets the selection for opening day was pretty good this year me and my friends got 12 tickets in terrace Box section 430 and 4 tickets in Terrace Box 428 I think they had a few Lodge tickets as well I am not sure were though I was only half awake at 8:50 after staying up all night long!! i got all my other games I wanted as well. It helps though when you are only 15th or so in line. Everyone has friends joinig their groups Friday night so the first group grew from four to 15 it is common though so nothing to complain about!! For anyone that wants a good laugh here I am being interviewd by CBS 58 Wednesday night I am the guy wearing the army boots opening up my tent and talking about my warm heart I have for the Brewers!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif http://www.cbs58.com/index.php?aid=11333
  18. I got the denial email as well for the lottery or well. I am already planning along with my friends to camp out for our tickets this week at the Arctic Tailgate. Free T-shirt and hot dog here I come. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gifhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  19. Time to bring the tent out of the garage and dust off my cot again for the Arctic Tailgate with my friends!! Anyone else thinking of going I am always up for meeting other Brewer fans!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. I am pretty pleased with the list I will be going to all of them for sure this year!! Was hoping for a John Jaha bobble but I guess we will have to wait for 2011.
  21. That might have something to do with it. I have only purchased maybe 7 or 8 bobbles from him in the past.
  22. He accepted $80 for the blue WOW. I had offered him I think $150 and also had said I have some extra Brewer SGA I could give you too to knock the price down. He said $150 + all my extras which was like 8 or 9 form 2006 and 2007 he would take it. I passed.
  23. I emailed MLB with an inquiry about them previous bottles earlier today they say to wait two days or so for a response!!! Yes I would definitely take you up on that offer if I can get another bottle. I will keep in touch with you if I get lucky.
  24. What those bottles were just on eBay and I missed them darn just my luck. No worries on the price of the bottle this also was a spur of the moment decision to go as high as I did. And after reading someone's post on here about getting one and getting it signed by CC during the celebration after the game last year I knew I wanted a bottle to go with my ticket and awesome memories from being at that game sitting one section over in LF bleachers were Brauns home run landed in the bullpen. Surprisingly enough that seller had 4 previous bottles for sale earlier in the week that ended with two having no bids and two bids for the others both under $35 I missed bidding on those by 1 minute since I was at work and busy go figure. He may still sell the others since none of the reserves were met I am trying to get in contact with the seller through MLB to see if they would sell them without putting them up for auction. Will definitely let you know if I get a response.
  25. I don't know if the Brewers can do it but I know you cannot get them personalized with former players if you try to go that route with a jersey tshirt purchased from the MLB site http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif It is a shame too Cause I would so get a Okha or Hammonds shirt made http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif per their rules: Guidelines for Customization * League player names must match current team rosters and the team for which they currently play * Retired player names cannot be printed on the team's jersey from which they retired * Both adult and youth jerseys hold up to 12 characters * Characters accepted: capital A-Z (name field only); 0-9 (number field only); spaces * Each space counts as one (1) character * Language deemed inappropriate, derogatory, or profane will not be accepted * If your selection does not meet all of the above criteria you will be prompted to start over
